Hard to believe that I actually passed the audition as

guitar player and was hired as a band member just

days before she passed away.

We were getting ready do do a tour to Chicago when

she killed by falling off a horse during a video shoot.

I will never forget that audition where you

served me coffie and your lovely smile.

Chavela, was one of the best, and her music lives on. I was fortunate to see her live a couple of times in the 80s with Los Tigres Del Norte
