I would still go ahead and do it, think of how much more you know about the game now, you'll start right off the bat better than you did the first time
If you've completed it loads of time, you shouldn't mind doing it again, especially since with your knowledge, you have the advantage of making all the right decisions which will transfer into ME2. ;)

unless you are an engineer, you must get to a very high level, at least 40. try going back to planets and opening boxes you missed, usually it's a good idea to do it right before ilos, because once you take ilos there's no going back, and you can be at your highest possible level.
It's not that he's a clone. It's that you can engineer your story such that your character, and a combination of your crew, survives or perishes on the final mission.
That's probably the best explanation as to what will happen based on the trailers that I've heard. I'm assuming(fingers crossed) that your romantic interest from ME will be with you rather than the rest of the crew. I don't see how you could continue it otherwise and I've heard you can keep whoever you chose in ME all the way through ME3. Just hope what I heard was right.

If you look closely he doesn't actually change the clip. He seems to pull a lever on the gun, and the guns portrait turns red after a certain period of burst fire but does not after smaller bursts.
It's still heat based, which is good as far as I'm concerned.
it will be cool though....i just hope that they have new tipes of armor and guns....remember in ME1 only the color of the armor changed when you equip a better one and the guns were only like 2 pistols models and stuff like that

Does it say that your 'electronics' skill is too low? What class is your Shepard, and who did you take with you?
When I had Kaiden with me and amped up his electronics skill, I never had that problem (although I know what you mean).

if you do die in ME2 you will play Shepard in ME3 but not "Your" Shepard, like if you never played the first Mass Effect and your playing the second you start a new Shepard
