in winter, the sun never rises, in summer the sun never sets. When it is winter in the southern hemisphere, say in Australia, it is summer in the northern hemisphere like in the UK.

There are many airports in the south pole, I don't know which one that is, but if you put in NZPG for a airport ID and you land at it, you will get a award for landing at the southernmost airport in the world.

the south pole is night all the time during winter and day most of summer in southern seasons so summer is december winter july and the month before and after maybe you have it set in winter

I know this is random, and flight sim is awesome and all, but wouldn't you rather put 1800-1900 dollars towards an actual license? And get a half decent PC. I had a £400 ($800) PC that played fsx at frame rates up to 72 fps. Pretty good I think!

Hey Cessna154 I need your help, after I installed the Accelaration Pack for FSX, I can´t add any new planes/textures. I can choose the new planes, but then my screen turns white and I don´t see anything. If I add new texture like for the 737, I can´t choose it. SP1 is already installed, what shall I do?

Try to reinstall. Sounds like something got corrupted on your hard drive during installation...  Let me know how that goes and I can offer more assistance if needed... :)

I tried to reinstall before, but the problem stays...like already said, the problem appeard a few days after I installed the Accelaration Pack for FSX. When I have more time, I will uninstall the Accelaration Pack, copy my FSX folder, and install the Accelaration Pack on one of the folders, that I will have FSX 2 times on my hard drive, but one has the Accelaration Pack, and the other one will not have it...:)

I will tell you if it solved the problem.

I just noticed at 0:51 you had that same rendering glitch that I had - with the landing lights turning into black squares for a second then becoming fully rendered. Really bugs me ever since I installed SP2 (with enhanced landing lights I suppose)

Yes there is an airport, but I can't remember which one it was. To find it, search for airports in Antarctica and you should see 5-7 airports show up in the results field and then just pick one and see what surprises you find... Thanks for watching and commenting!!! :)

I found this little island out ages ago - I was like WTF when i took of from the South Pole Station - the runway turned into a skatepark - scary as it kept changing constantly. Nice stunt at the end lol.
