Guys.  this concept is already being used here in thw uk. we have sites where you can bid, and the lowest bid wins. the way they make money is simple. you pay for each bid. so for example, with the PS3. thats worth about £300 here. now you as the bidder have to buy bids at say 50 p each. so you buy 20 bids at 50 p each, and start bidding till u are the lowest bidder. and other people do the same. If 600 bids are placed, they recover the cost of the ps3 just from people bidding alone..

i think how it works is you pay to bid. so if you bit $4, you actually already paid $4 before you get the item. if you don't win they keep the $4 anyways. the lowest unique bidder wins for that bid. this is how they pay for the car. so if 1000 people bid $1 on a PS3, the seller makes $4000 on a item. at least that is the only way i think this could work for you to make money. i could be wrong, just my opinion.
