Beautiful video I live in alabama and were lucky to get snow once a year and when its not snowing its just freezing cold hows the snow up there is it crazy or is it just perfect?
If this was shot in the UK, the scene would be one of total chaos. Nice video and music too - Gary Burton. Who is the pianist (one of his duets with Chick Corea? - doesn't sound like Chick though)
i think this is amazing!!!! i live in hollywood never snows out here the coldest is around 46 and sunny again thru out the day! i deffinetly need to go their
Thanks! I lived in L.A. many years ago but kept going back to this town. Do have a strong affinity to the area. Best time to visit would be towards the end of Summer.
WEstern washington is the most beyooooooooooooooooooooooootiful place to live during snow period... i love it in every possible ways, and regretted moving to Upstate NY... look at those "evergreen" pine trees ! we don't have it here,! i miss home ! totally astonishing video...
We are experiencing the Fall right now and all the reds, yellows, greens ,browns and gold leaves are all over...add mist, fog and haze and we have quite a lovely nature show. thanks for your comments...maybe you can visit someday. I'm sure home miss you too.
i will be coming home this Xmas, hopefully we'll get another white xmas... I moved to upstate about a year ago... and I used to live in Bellevue all my life, I also miss driving on 405 and I-5.... great music, thanks again!
Hey this Video Rocks! I have Family in Bremerton I flew into SeaTac on Dec 21 of 2007 and this is the first time I experianceed snow in the Seattle/Bremerton area and i'll tell you "old man Winter" had a welcoming commitee awaiting for our arrival from Salt Lake I was worried bout my Bro.inlaw and Nephew Hell they were having a ball between Bremerton and Seatlle..I will say this area grows on a Person will I retire that way? only time will tell i guess. Great Video!
Thanks for the nice comment. As much as I enjoy some snow in the area, last years' snow was just too much! I tried to make a follow video but the 2008-09 snow dump created a Siberian feel to our neighborhood. Stayed outside having shots of whiskey with Eastern European neighbors Christmas. Lots of fun!
Cool video, I have some fun pictures of my drive home from redmond to everett on february 28th that same winter.
I'm hoping this weekends storm brings us some good snow, but who knows around here. I live up in lake stevens, but work in redmond, I drive through woodinville every day. :)
honestly, i dont think theres a better place to live in america. you can experience every climate there is. desert in E. Wash, rain forest on the Pennisula, snow in the passes, and surf on the coast
Great Video, I remember this, I was driving from Univ. of Washington, headed southbound, on I-5 when it poured snow all of a sudden. The pacific northwest is already beautiful, but snow made it even more so.
I love the Gary Burton/Makoto Ozone track, which title is it BTW. Thanks!
Hi...thanks for the comments. It's one of those days that seems to go on slow motion and everything looks like a dream...difficult to put into words...the title of the tune is "times like these" from the cd "face to face"...if you like that feel of music...check out burton and ralph towner's cd "matchbook" or oregon's "northern lights".
yes...those years ('02-'06) were weather friendly! fast forward today....we are in a state of emergency...flood, winds, snow, non stop rain! but...still love Washington State...tried to leave many times but i keep coming back. something about it i just can't explain. thnx.
I don't like driving that much but I like driving videos. I've mad etwo so far but only have one posted. The other one looks pretty dangerous and I'm afraid my insurance agent will see it.

Uh, I really hope you're not holding the camera AND driving in the snow.
Anyway, that's was the best snow season we've had in Seattle since I moved here in 2004. Reminded me of Eastern Washington.
rhapsodyswept 4 years ago
