  • its a new mac btw

  • is it not dangerous to have windows 7 on a mac book pro? cause the heat that is caused ? i get very hot on the mac osx when i tried ... and its alarming me

  • Trying to use it in a vm alongside my mac and linux and combined its a ultimate computer.

  • If Apple was so great they would not have needed Bill gates to invest so much in their company to prevent it from going under.....and Pinning items to the task bar was around in xp.

  • I play games on my computer so Windows 7 is my OS of choice. Plus I am just comfortable with the Windows environment.

  • @RichGilly THE GUY IN THIS VIDEO IS A HOMOSEXUAL. I VISITED A COMPUTECH WEEKEND IN DALLAS, DURING JUNE 2009, HE EXPOSED, AND THEN MASTURBATED HIS ERECT PENIS TOWARDS ME IN THE TOILETS.

  • @NUNCLEFRITZ Either that or you look like a girl

  • been using my mom's work laptop, a dell latitude e6420 with windows 7 prof. since the trackpad broke on my macbook (white mid 2007). windows 7 is surprisingly user-friendly, with some notable improvements over lion, incl the "exposé" feature in the taskbar. also nice how everything is consolidated in the taskbar, really makes the full-screen experience pop and permits fewer distractions, read: higher productivity. this is coming from a "die-hard" mac user 7 years & counting.

  • i love osx.

i love windows 7, HUGE improvement.

i use them both, and they seem simple and easy :)

  • Windows 7 seems to be too full of clutter and useless stuff, making it quite a stilted user experience. Personally, I would say that there is nothing that Windows can do better than Mac, but it still has some positives (namely the lower price tag).

  • @GooseAnimatics And memory, and graphics cards, and a gaming experience. By no stretch of the imagination can you say Mac is better, or even COMPARES to PC for gaming.

  • @GooseAnimatics Gaming. Who uses a Mac for gaming?

  • There's a "Microsoft Store" ?

"Useful and stable" ? ...lucky you're not reviewing Vista. LOL

But yes, Windows 7 is a great OS, especially when compared to vista.

  • Well if you have the right hardware and driver environment, you won't get BSOD even in XP. I have machines in XP and haven't had a problem for past 8 years. BSOD is suggesting most likely a hardware or driver error, hardly an OS problem.

I can't see how driver issue is Microsoft responsibility, when the hardware and device driver are developed by third party such as Asus, Acer or others etc.

  • Yeah, I have windows and mac and I find them both great :P

  • you're gonna get hurt on the fence

  • I'm thinking os witching to Windows, Lion looks childish, ipad like to me, currently on a osx snow leopard hackingtosh that cost $2000 to build, would have cost $6000 for same specs from mac.

  • I like both, but I use macs =]

  • Wow, I really want to thank God for the fact that you can actually behave normal to PC's as a Mac user. Finally somebody who isn't giving in to this stupid war. You should be proud of yourself on actually giving comment on the objective side of both systems.

  • The OSs 'influence' each other. Lion is finally able to resize windows by dragging any part of the edge.

  • @Mehedict I used to think people never saw what Apple copies. Finally you saw it as well as I did.

  • i dont think windows 7 knows what a BSOD is

  • @ashipod13 buy a biostar motherboard and you'll see. killed the memory with a screwed up slot. i rmaed them both and told neither about each other lol.

  • @ashipod13 my windows 7 did know it.. but it was a hardware fault.. so not because of win 7

  • ive always been a windows fan..and i hated apple.i promised myself that the ONLY apple product i would buy in my life would be a 27" imac...guess what. i bought one...and oh boy!!!!!!! makes me wnta go out and buy me a mac book pro, mac book air, itouch, iphone, ipad, ianything! lol.but in the end...my heart is still with windows. lol

  • I love Windows (TM), I told you Windows (TM) is better!

  • windows 7 is really awesome, but lion is even better. I had a dell inspiron, windows worked really well, in fact 7 was a lot more easier to use than vista and xp, loved aero, but one day i open my laptop and see that product key is not registered, how the hell could that happen, I got my laptop with windows, just decided to switch to mac and loving the experience cuz no antivirus and no drivers. i still use my dell for gaming though, thats one area im missing on mac.

  • @Osmankhan786 your product key? just go to the store. they'll give you a new one.

  • i dont really use macs - bus i do know windows 7 works a lot better then that piece of shit they called vista

  • @123arianagrandefan oh yes i agree

in the words of chris pirillo UPGRADE(from vista to 7)

  • spending a full day getting a USB mouse to work never happens on mac. drivers, wizards and install shields. I wouldn't trust windows as far as I could through it.

  • @sonicoliver really? a day, I just got a wireless mouse, plug it in and it worked in secs.

  • MACS means SCAM backwards.....and i have been scammed big time

  • @digitalwolves That was soooo witty.

  • I have windows 7 ultimate on my netbook

  • windows is for fags mac are for mega fags

  • @vaper192 so what are you using?

  • @DeShanzo debian 6 GNU+linux amd64 it free it fast and the best

  • Mac's is a pc.

  • What is "new" about the task bar?

  • I am a Windows guy, I bought a Macbook pro 3 days ago, and then when I turned it on Im like... Now what?? Sadly I turned it off and went back to using my Windows Desktop. I paid $2000 for a laptop and feel so bored. Windows is way easier to use and faster.

  • @Macmittens411 can i buy it off you?

  • @stevelubs Its actually worth $2500, and actually I am still tryign to find some use for it. Because I am typing this from one of my 3 PC's. ): Too many buttons to press on a Mac when u can press one on a PC.

  • i have window 7 but i really want to get a mac for one question do the ios 10 for the mac crash much like just want to know

  • i use both pcs and macs and i LOVE windows 7 i have used it since december 2010 and i have had very few problems and the ones i did have took five minutes to clear up very reliable os its a major improvement over windows xp (i refuse to acknowledge vista lol)

  • apple has 90 youtube accounts

  • There is definitely a BIG difference between vista and windows 7

  • @123shanecharlton yap BIGGGG diference

  • @cacilndaa123 There actually is -___- i reckon there is anyway..

  • You are everything that's wrong with a Mac user. All of your comments on Windows 7 are about 'the look' and the fact that 'it didn't bluescreen'. You know nothing about what you're dealing with and can only talk about the very superficial features that your meager brain is able to understand. How about what the OS can actually run? How you can tweak it? The fact that it doesn't treat you like a baby? hardware and software compatability? "I like the aero glass. Durrrrr". Loser.

  • I've been a dell user all my life but I'm getting an iMac now because it simply fits my needs. I love gaming and I know it really isn't a hardcore gaming machine, but it pulls off gaming pretty darn well. I also want to take advantage of its music and video editing software. Thank you very much for not seeing the world in black and white. If only more were like you.

  • @davekimgansen Hahahahah you faggot! commenting on this fucking video fuck you you stupid nigger cunt fuck fuck ffuck fuck fuck shit shit cock damn!

  • @IASvB Haha Fuck you and your little dog too KEVIN.

  • Comment removed

  • I started hating the Mac (until OS X), then ignoring the Mac, then using the Mac; all that while being a Microsoft user and fan. Then I became a Mac fanboi (blush) and now I just don't care about Microsoft any more. I'm totally disinterested in Microsoft. I tell people I'm a Microsoft Certified Professional, and that's why I use Macs. Windows is a pane; Macs are fun. Don't defend Windows to me; even if you are right, I can't get up the energy to care!

  • i am a pc user and i like mac and pc at the same time but i choose pc because i am just used to it. i never owed a Macintosh but i can see myself using a mac in the future.

  • I don't understand why people say windows is confusing. It really isn't hard to understand at all.

  • Comment removed

  • Because they are too dumb to use it.

Apple boxed a dog turd and sold it for $2000 to millions of morons.

  • @MrBrutus101 actually HP & IBM were busy making computers and selling them for $10,000 and told Apple there was no market for sub $5,000 computers. Apple said well we're going to build a $2,000 computer anyway. screw you guys. and that is how the Apple Computer was born. So you can thank Apple for the PC Business and the birth of el cheapo computers

  • @am321can That's history. That's why they call it history.

  • @likeewoahhh95 i agree. i think macs are hard to understand!

  • Apple has my high school under education store, but I don't know if I can use the discount they provide if I am a student someone please help.

  • @ZEagles65 they had me fooled with that too but it turns out that the high school education is only for employees of k-12 schools. however my mom had a discount with work so I ended up getting my macbook pro 13 inch for $1127.

  • bloody confusing. another list: automatically running chkdsk every startup, turning off the internet at random and making it near impossible to reconnect, random shutdowns, confusing settings on how to change the sleep/shut down settings, no ability to change crucial system files which are currently fucking me over, sound recorder has no more options except rec. stop. Paint has turned into a pain in the ass, once again near imossible to use, windows explorer has HIDDEN many of the main features

  • anyone who was once familiar with windows has been thrown into a dark pit to start over. userfriendly? i tested windows 7 on my grandmother. she works a computer every day but has limited knowledge of certain things so she relies SOLELY on windows ability to be user-friendly. welll.... after a single day of use and week of trying to convince, grandma is taking th computer back and is going to deal with the speed on XP. I don't think she knew she was still operating a computer it was so....

  • first things first. if you tried to blue-screen vista and failed, you have failed at life. ive seen vista blue screen more than any other operating system next to Windows 7, the ultimate diarrhea shit. its ok, coming from a mac you probably know zilch about windows. all the features above described are an absolute nightmare and have ultimately proved to make things more unstable and confusing, not to mention the fact that EVERY SINGLE windows program has changed, settings included, so that..

  • Macs seem to be about doing what they are supposed to do, right, every time. They have succeeded at this.

Windows computers seem to be about covering a wide variety of computing needs and price ranges. They succeed at that.

I don't see why we should be all arguing.

Please correct me if I'm wrong on the above points.

Oh, if anyone can help me convert my .avi movies to .mov, that would be very helpful. I run Win7, by the way.

  • I just have an iMac. I have with bootcamp windows 7 in it, so if i boot my mac, i can choice between windows or mac. Sometimes windows yaa know for games and everything that wont work with mac, and yeah i like both, but Mac is totally faster! Faster boot, it is just soo fast and you just feel that and the programs in mac are Amazing! Soo i use both i like windows i like mac.

  • press play. repeatedly press 2. just do it.

  • There is nothing worst than watching a talking head.

    ZZZZZZZZZZ

    Tim

  • I dont hate mac/apple, i hate people who think they know so much about it and say that mac are better when they dont really have a reason to it.

  • i use ubuntu 11.04 and its super fast and it runs all my windows programs too

  • All operating systems have their problems, just some have less than others.

  • LINUX IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO

  • @shady4tv HELL YEAHH

  • 3:46 - Use Win7 for 2-3 months then try again.

  • I prefer the hardware and look of Mac with the functionality of Windows. Best combination ever.

  • i use and like both

  • This guy looks like John Schnatter.

  • i am a macboy and hav had to overlap slightly with windows at work (xp) and i dispised it until recently when they upgraded to 7 and i find it not as bad as xp

  • Win7 stable? I may not have had it go to a blue screen of death, but things on it will mysteriously stop responding, and I have to log out and in again to clear it up. It's bloated and full of stupid design decisions, and a lot of stripped down features and limitations compared to XP. By not allowing people to do many OS related things, that's probably how they help prevent it from crashing. And searching for a file and orders of magnitude slower than a Mac. MS can never seem to get that right.

  • windows 7 has just about caught up with mac osx snow leopard. Mac OSX lion is coming out in a couple months tho ( :

  • @hiian123 So is a Windows 8 beta :)

  • augh... I want to shoot myself in the face....

  • you need youtube partnership. 1000+ videos?

dude you could've made $388,081.58 for total video views + $58,490.14 for channel views, both = 446571.72 not counting the people who would click ads in your video.

    just a suggestion...

  • Do I need to run Windows update on windows 7 if I am using it on mac Or I just need Apple software update?

  • Definitely nothing beats OS X, but I have to say that 7 is MS's best OS yet.

  • With an HP Elitebook running Windows7, I like Win7, having switched to Mac 1.5 yrs ago. We have a Macbook, a MacBook Air, an Ipad, and 2 Imacs-one with Parllels and WinXP, along with an Alienware laptop with Win7 and an older Core duo WinXP box. I have to say they all serve different purposes, no one is better than the other. I do miss using the outstanding touchpad on the MacBook / or the new wireless one on the Imac. Office 2010 also quite cool with Win7.

  • @kiashadowwave I wasnt talking about fucking specs dumbass. I was talking about general price range. You didn't read my whole comment did you?

  • Both are good for their own reasons. I'm getting an Imac and and I will be running both windows and os x on it. I love gaming which isn't huge on macs (but is getting bigger). As far as pricing, it depends on what brand you go with. Macs are not as pricey as something like Alienware, whose desktops run into the $8000 range.

  • @lookanalien Wow you know nothing. Macs are on average $500-$1000 more than Alienware systems of the same specs. When you configure an $8000 desktop, it's WORTH $8000, meaning it has FAR superior processing power, graphics power, storage, RAM and everything else.

Have fun with your overpriced all-in-one, when you replace it in 2-3 years and have to pay for a new monitor too even though the old one will be in perfect condition.

  • @kiashadowwave True. But you still have to run that piece of shit Windows. I have a great job. I can afford what I want. What's your excuse?

  • @Zubirrex I agree, OS X is better for people who don't know how to use computers and are scared to break them when checking their email or browsing Facebook. Windows is much more customizable and has a much wider range of software (not even including games that don't exist on OS X at all) that it is intimidating for the less technologically-inclined. Macs are definitely great for seniors and young children.

  • @kiashadowwave OS X is a real UNIX. You can go all the way down to the shell with the command line. You can compile custom kernels, like with Linux. Windows is good for games. The kind of thing kids and old people like to do. Say hi to your WoW clan for me.

  • @Zubirrex Wrong again. OS X may be UNIX-based, but it is not UNIX. What does this mean for day-to-day use? Diddly squat.

  • @kiashadowwave

Technically, OS X is UNIX; it has 100% POSIX compliance and completely conforms to Single Unix Spec. version 3 according to the Open Group. You can use UNIX commands via Terminal and execute UNIX code on OS X with full functionality and compatibility.

Of course, as you say, it may not mean anything for "day-to-day" home use, but it shows that OS X is practical for more than being used by the "less technologically inclined" you so smugly mention.

  • @kiashadowwave It means it's good for more than playing games, i.e., the only reason to have Windows.

  • Wow, who let the children on the internet? There are things that I like about a computer running Windows, and there are things that I like about Apple hardware and their Mac OS X operating system. Each company has their pros and cons. Why should anyone waste time reading the ramblings of some schmuck who wants to TELL you want to use and what not to use? It's MY LIFE, and I have choices. No one cares about these stupid opinions people post. Just flag them down so that we don't have to see them.

  • @BrJoFilmz Because they will last forever and it is nigh impossible for them to get a virus. They are the most futureproof computer you can buy, without building your own.

  • lol ofcourse its an improvement over os 10 u can do so much more with it!!! i mean i use both but for customisation & cool little tricks & overclocking & using keygens etc etc etc... windows owns a mac.

  • @MultiFrank777 Hey, fanboy, You know that Windows wouldn't be here if it weren't for Mac?

  • @BackHandSlapStudios acnowleged but windows 7 is still quite blatantly the superior operating system. does mac have its place in the universe? um yes cerainly but to even try to compare it to a crazy operating system like w7 is laughable.

  • @MultiFrank777 I am currently running W7 and I put it side by side with my buddies macbook pro.... The mac was superior.

  • @BackHandSlapStudios Depends on your computers specs running w7

  • @KissChad Well... Yeah... Seeing that my computer is a piece of shit Inspiron 1525....

  • @BackHandSlapStudios i qualify my statement. itunes sucks... there is no real keygens available for a mac... u cant overclock ur mac as far as i kno... a mac is uncustomisable compared to windows... mac gaming sucks.... apple is a manufacturer of hardware not software & it shows. yes photoshop is very nice but last i heard it ran just as well on w7 & theres a lot more u can do with a w7 machine that u couldnt manage on a mac. besides pcs are just cooler & less pretentiouse.

  • @MultiFrank777 iTunes is better than that piece of shit WMP.... Why do you want a keygen? That is illegal. You CAN overclock a Mac, but not as much. I dont CARE about customizability... If it is fast and works better than W7 It is fine with me. I dont game much. I mostly edit videos and do stuff with the Adobe products. Apple is a GREAT software producer. In fact, like I have said before, YOUR PIECE OF SHIT WINDOWS WOULD NOT BE HERE IF IT WERENT FOR APPLE.

  • @BackHandSlapStudios @MultiFrank777 Stop it! Windows is for Games, 3rd Party Apps and General Use. Macs are for media and style. It depends on what type of person you are to like one of the two OS's. Don't be silly guys, just because you hate Mac OS or Windows doesnt mean you can call it crap. Its not about "my opinion is better than yours blah blah blah... CALL THEM DIFFERENT eh?

  • @Branuelmo I agree, they are very different OSs. And you are spot on with what they are best for, W7 for games Mac for media.

  • @Branuelmo in todays world you can use one or another and you cant go wrong.NOW, it depends of you are someone that uses mac because its COOL or you use 3DS MAX, wich is pretty much the only important software for professional use that doesnt run on a Mac (without using bootcamp or something else of course).

I love windows 7 because i use 3ds max, i love all the features john already said, and like the stability and style. But if i had the money i would buy a macbook, for buildquality and battery

  • @Branuelmo "Windows is for Games, 3rd Party Apps and General Use. Macs are for media and style"

Macs are also for general use because they are computers as well.

If you can run a program on it and process data on it and have the ability to communicate with it, you can make it do virtually anything.

Personal computers, regardless of OS, are the greatest realization of a general purpose device ever created, having high level of capability and being available to many.

  • @Branuelmo that would require some adult thing called sense...

  • @Branuelmo I beg to differ. Macs aren't for style. They all look the same.

  • @Branuelmo how is a mac for media?

i give u an example... alienware m17x now with 3d display yow ;)

    up in your ass!!

  • @Branuelmo yap man totally agree, it depend of each person, and each style, in my case i have windows 7 and i am about to buy one macbookpro, and i already saw many, many, MANYY reviews about macbook and apple stuff. And i prefer OS than windows, windows 7 is AWSOMEEE but OS e more for my kind of sutff, i think is that it depends of each person.

  • @Branuelmo they are not crap... none of them. Its just that windows can run almost everything.

  • @BackHandSlapStudios thats just it dude!!! i use vlc media player & media monkey... both open source. i can get mad ammounts of music on p2p. as for illegal... fair usage polecy for research & artistic purposes. customisation? um thats where u taylor make ur computer to do exactly what u want. overclocking? yes not as much. works better than w7? no. dont game much? dude wtf!!!! edit? adobe? i can do all that shit too... great software but no. if it wasnt for the vic 20 os10 wouldnt b here.

  • @BackHandSlapStudios go back to playing farmville faggot.

  • @ipmasked What does Farmvillle have to do with OSs? You are obviously short bus. I hope you don't forget your helmet. You might bump your head.

  • There is absolutely no similarity between the dock and the taskbar. The taskbar's functionality is not just the fact that you pin programs to it. And there's nothing expose like.

  • Wow thanks man, I have Windows 7 Home Preminum for like 6 months now, and I never even knew anything about this Aero Shake and AeroSnap.

    Thanks for telling us!

  • Windows 7 is Awsome Vista is Bad! Windows Xp is Good but does not have alot of Customazation

  • Wow, finally someone with a good sense and unbiased! *claps* bravo

  • @dekonstrux Bullshit. If it were unbiased, there wouldn't be any of this "windows 7 was influenced by mac"...whatever similarities are certainly better implemented better on Win 7. Mac OS, while it shows promise, is really just a piece of crap right now. But maybe they'll get it right next time.

  • Is it really illegal to install a mac os on a windows pc while it isn't on a mac?

  • @martinfernandonhs93 Mac OS should be illegal period, because it's the devil.

  • @nakedvolleyball are you sure about that? cause i triple boot my mac

  • I dualboot Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and Linux Mint 10 on my Gateway Notebook. Want to know more? Check out my videos. I like Windows 7 and believe that Microsoft has finally done something well right out of the gate. However, Linux is still my system of choice. I do have OS X in a virtual machine though just for the fun of it.

  • I own both a pc and a mac and I really like both. I have them both on the same network, I can share files between them and even stream media to my PS3 and iPhone from both my mac and my pc. I've got the mac writing to a NTFS external drive so I can access media from the pc thru the mac. :D I have a question though, why do a lot of people prefer editing video on macs? And please don't post stupid comments like "because pc's are shit" I want to hear facts.

  • @cellanime I think there are different reasons but Apple has a whole range of proprietary audio/video software exlusive to Mac like Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, etc and they all work together and offer a very consistent workflow throughout different applications.

It's kinda like the Adobe Creative Suite software bundle which contains different programs but they also have a very high integration between them.

A lot of people prefer that because it lets them work more efficient and be more productive

  • @cellanime That's the first interesting question I've seen on youtube in a long time. I've had and used both and by far prefer editing on a PC. Though I do think that FCP has slightly more features (kind of, depends on what you think is a feature), I prefer to use windows because it's never crashed on me. My macs have all crashed during video and photo editing. And don't judge what you think is my editing based on what you see on my channel. This is all for shits and giggles.

  • pause at 0:13 and check out his funny face

  • Windows 7 is definitely an upgrade from Vista, but that being said I very much like Vista.

  • im sorry but why would you buy a mac for that much money, but then buy windows 7? doesn't make sense to me

  • you want to know why?.. because windows 7 runs much better on a mac than a pc. trust me. i have it on my imac because i need to use visual studio to build programs, and it runs much smoother than any pc I have ever used. im not a fanboy either, i like windows 7 a lot and also love apple. they are both good in different ways.@trickster477

  • @trickster477 Perhaps he requires the use of both operating systems for work purposes?

  • "The new taskbar across the bottom...it has a dock-like feel"

    I'm speechless.

  • mac and windows 7 are good but mac costs a lot

  • windows rocks, mac too but i stay with windows

  • Can you get viruses on the windows side and do you need an anti-virus????

  • This Guy is Hot

  • @neogirl1st But he doesn't blink...

  • THIS GUY IS SOOOOOOOOOOOO PATRONISING

  • You fail for even saying that Windows 7 has Mac OS features

the features that mac os has Ubuntu had those features years ago

Sorry dude but you really fail -.-

  • Windows and Linux is better than Mac in terms of choice in the windows and linux world you can get a big powerful beast or a machine that fits in the palm of your hand running a full desktop operating system. look up UMPC. With Mac you only get a choice of a dozen models . of computer.

  • You can make Ubuntu look and feel just like a Mac with a bit of tweaking, man... And it's completely free.

  • Great example of a good quality YouTube video.

  • i use windows 7 at school....at home i still have xp...but i hate it!! everything is so slow and the graphics are really dumb!! im gonna upgrade to a macbook pro 15" with i7 processor....im really excited :D

  • @sportsfake noob. why don't u try a windows 7 comp with an i7.

  • @sportsfake Lol fail....

    for even commenting!!!!!

  • @sportsfake thats not cause its windows its due to you buying a shitty quality computer

  • I like Windows 7, but I can't stand using it.

  • personally I think mac OS10 is way better than windows 7... That is why I switched to a mac.

  • I am typing this on a Windows 7, and many features you mentioned I never knew they were on my computer.

  • I wholeheartedly agree with John. Both operating systems have their merits. I got my very first MacBook about a month ago and I have to say, I like it a lot. However that doesn't mean I will never touch a PC again. On the contrary, I think the two complement each other: Mac's looks and awesomeness and Windows' practicality and compatibility. Therefore I recommend using the OS you feel more comfortable as the main OS and use OS virtualization software to run the other OS, preferably in Unity.

  • NOOB. lol jk, good review

  • You know what John, I have respect for you. You're smart enough not 2 close your eyes and shout I hate Windows. I'm running Ubuntu right now (awesome OS btw), I've used windows 7 extensively and I'm hoping to try mac OS sometime soon - as far as I can see they all have their up sides and down sides.

  • I want a macbook just for the look of it... That being said I want windows 7. Mac os is too much like windows 3.1 I don't want that bar at the top of my screen.

  • I do prefer WIndows but everyone knows that.

    Macs ARE Expensive

    But....

    They will last you years.

    Supreme Build Quality.

    No complicated Hardware requierments.

  • @bw5991 Windows runs on everything now...even Macs. It all depends on what your willing to pay for. The only thing mac designs and builds are their cases. Their outsourcing everything else making it the same hardware as a PC. Basically all i'm trying to say is any well built PC will last just as long as a Mac. Many people have bad experiences with PC's and assume their all the same. If that's you, think about how much you payed for it.

  • @Toy8ox Agree... most people buy a 500 dollar PC and expect it to last for 5+ years. Not gonna happen. Now, with that given, if you're gonna spend 900+ on a good computer then just buy a mac and get the best of both words =]

  • @droop4 well, I need to run Autocad and it need 3.0 ghz or more with a powerful video card, I will have to spend more than 2500 on a mac, when i just can get the Vaio Z 2011 for less.

  • Respond to this video... PS- agree, windows 7 works great. I love both systems! But definitively not over Lion.

    OSx + Win7 = <3 =]

  • I currently run my pc with windows 7 and I love it. when comes to customizing my pc windows 7 just makes it super easy and i don't think limits me at all. the thing i have to say I love the most is that I can pick a whole bunch of wallpapers and have windows switch to a new wallpaper every 15 minutes or how ever fast you want it to switch. I'm currently thinking about to switching to mac but you can be sure of one thing, I am bringing windows 7 (dual boot) with me,

  • i ran geek bench on ubuntu 10.04 got 1414, ran it on xp got 1357, ran it on windows 7 got 986 o_O.............

  • windows 7: 9/10

    Mac os x: 8.9/10
