Uhhhhh for those who want to be a necron and a space marine..... this game is based off of the Warhammer Fantasy world, not the Warhammer 40k world. Neither space marines or necrons exist way back when....

It's not the same universe--they are completely spearated, even from the begining of time, in Warhammer Fantasy, the Chaos Gods killed the Old Ones, in Warhammer 40k they still live.

u never kno, WoW is really popular i used to play it, but im busy all the time so ya. WoW is an experienced, expanding and ever-changing universe. the probability of warhammer, which is a lot older than WoW btw, being a "WoW killer". i dont think so. but u will probably see a major increase in Warhammer player status during release and some decline in WoW. Just givin my opinion. If u reply plz dont give me smack. i respect ur opinion as much as u repect mine.

actually, if you watch the podcasts you will see that it has MANY things WoW doesnt have. right down to detailed stuff like how quests will be done, how you level/progress, and end-game stuff. You will see, if you actually do some research, that WAR can definately be a WoW-killer, but only to those who are tired of mindless hours of PvE grinding every night.

You shouldn't compare this to WoW as they are completly different. They use different engines for graphics and this game is for more serious gamers (ones that play 24/7) where as WoW is for casual gamers as well as 24/7 players. Anywayz I don't think i'll enjoy this game as much as i enjoy WoW, combat seems very dry and lacking and well, warhammer is way too nerdy. I think the PVP system will be a shamble tbh. anyway this is just my opinion.
