  • tohle je fakt prasárna klobouk dolů

  • how do you get your trills good? Just practicing where you have them in pieces or do you do them seperately like up and down the fretboard? It's seems like I play these bach suites and the thing that gets me is the trills!

  • Thanks, I enjoyed that. I just started playing some of the Carcassi's again, but I'm not so wild about my edition, Olcott-Bickford's. Do you have a different one you would recommend?

  • I supposed you may play this song smoothly without being recorded. There is always a little pressure when you know you have to be good for others to see. This is very nice however.

  • yeah that always happens to me ...

  • Yeah i know the feeling too,....i am busy with take 24.876. Hope to get on YT soon tough :)

  • wow. I need to play that for my grade 5 and i was'nt too keen on the song, but after hearing it played to such a high level i feel inspired lol. thanks

  • Hi Mel! Long time no see!

    Hope you are OK.

    Thanks for listening!

    Kind regards,

    Peo

  • amazing!!

I'm just wondering what is your setup for the recordings. Is it only your guitar and the build in microphones of the camera or do you use any other microphones? Also do you use post effects like reverb or anything, or are the sounds of the recording the original guitar sound?

Keep up the awesome work =D

  • Thanks! I have an external mic of good quality. And then in the videoediting software Pinnacle studio, I add some reverb. No secrets... And a very good guitar and some years of practicing to play achieve good sound from the nails...

    Peo

  • many thanks for the reply. Your techniche is really amazing. I think all the years of preactice can give you a very good respect for the tempo of the songs, which for me is the key element on making a "pro" like performance. Also the tone from the nails is as important as having a good guitar. Takes some time of trial and error to get it right. I'm still on the error side LOL. The reverb is really a good thing to posteffect on a classic guitar sound.

  • Recently i got Xuefei Yang cds (four seasons and romance de amor) and i could also hear some reverb there. She also plays Sakura, which is a song you performed, and for me you got it right on with it. As perfect as Xuefei.........

I hope you keep doing this amazing "work" here in youtube, because its really very good to obeserve someone really good..

    My kind regards

  • WOW! Pretty AWESOME. Thanks

  • Thank you! It's fun to play it...

    Peo

  • Amazing. I'd thought Carcassi's etudes just as technique builders lacking musicality. But you play it so beautifully. Maybe I should try Carcassi, too. Thanks for your inspiring performance.

  • Thanks! Well, if played properly, Carcassi can be nice music too!

    Peo

  • You always get to inspire me and make me want to walk away from the computer, go get my guitar and start practicing... in fact that's what Im gonna do right now. (You said "Damn hard", that was funny, Im gigglin) Saludos maestro

  • Thanks a lot. I am very happy to hear I can inspire you to practice more! That's the best comment I can get!

    Kind regards,

    Peo

    Kindly,

  • It isn't out of sync on my screen. And what "unclear" trills?

  • Good to hear. And ... well... some of them are sloppy... :)

    Thanks a lot!

    Peo

  • Peo,

On my screen it's perfectly synched, and perfectly beautiful.

Many years ago, I played a Carcassi piece known (I think) as "Divertisment." It's long since escaped me. Are you familiar with it? If so, I'd love to hear it.

    Moosie

  • Moosie,

Thanks for the info. And your words! I actually replied yesterday but now it's gone...? Well, anyways I'm glad you like it.

I think there are many Divertisment by Carcassi. Do you remember Opus?
