  • @XXTUCHITXX Yes, they also make good bait. Thanks & good fishing to you!

  • @XXTUCHITXX Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for writing in - you'll have to give blue fish a try - if you remove the dark meat, you may notice a difference

  • Bingenzle

  • @rinaldii29 Thanks for tuning in & good fishing.

  • Cut under the head near the gills and at the tail

  • @ADAVfish6 Thanks for tuning in and for writing in as well - hope you have a great year on the water!

  • Just a little tip bleed the bluefish out in a bucket and it'll make better fillets

  • @ADAVfish6 Thanks for sharing your tips and for tuning in. Until next time good luck and good fishing.

  • The worst way to eat a blue fish......The best way is to fillet it ...remove the blood line...then procede to cook it like any other fillet....dont forget to bleed it when its still alive....you guys do not know anything about blues..thats clear.

  • @TheSemperFish Thanks for writing in and sharing your tips with us........we also like to fillet Blues, but they are also very tasty "steak'd" and then grilled.

Hope you have a great year on the water in 2012.

  • you dont need to cut the head off. it just makes a bloody mess if you dont bleed it...

  • @TheFishingforlife We use the heads to make fish stock - thanks for commenting & good fishing to you!

  • don't cut the fins, thats the crunchy part..aawww.

  • @skunk96 They would be crunchy if fried.....Thanks!

  • ok!!!! lol

  • what is a blue fish

  • @snaplap747 It's a salt water game fish and it is a lot of fun to catch....they have plenty of sharp teeth, so depending on what you are using for bait, you may need a steel leader.

Thanks for tuning in & good fishing

  • bluefish is nasty no matter what, but good vid

  • @kemywemywoo Thanks & good fishing to you!

  • thumbs up for devil fish head at 5:24-5:30!

  • @ii1RONx ....we did have a great fish fry that day! Thanks for taking time to write to us and for tuning in.

  • Do you have a porgy filleting video?

  • @jawsflounderace At this time, we do not have a porgy filleting video, but we can try to do one at some point. Meanwhile, we do have a video on cleaning fresh water bass and you could use the same method for salt water porgy.

Thanks for writing in and good fishing!

  • are snapper blues better than regular blues?

  • @sinaieman They do have a milder, not as fishy taste compared to the big blues. Thanks!

  • remember! when ur steaking blues take the blood out while its alive, one cut to the neck with a knife and it bleeds out in a cooler!

  • @zander9991 Thanks for writing in and sharing your tip with us!

  • Wats the best fishing spot for bass at sacramento

  • @Swat1co We don't know as we have never fished that area. Thanks!

  • Lol watch from 5:24-5;30 the head just slips of the other fish and slides

  • great tips i always have trouble steaking a big bluefish im gonna try this. by the way you might want to bleed the fish as soon as you catch it it makes the quality of the meat better and the bleed contains high levels of mercury

  • @assasin1418 Thanks for that great tip!Good fishing!

  • i prefeer a traditional fillet, and i bread and fry it or just grill the fillet...then I take the head off for crab traps and also use the guts for crab bait

  • @ericbarasch123 Thanks for taking time to write to us and to share your tips! Until next time, good luck and good fishing.

  • It's not the "bottom fin," it's the anal fin! Bon Appetite!

  • @StompingRabbits You're right, it's called the anal fin. Thanks & good fishing!

  • Great job. I go seabass fishing a lot also. When I catch bluefish I take the guts out, scale, and steak them to. Try putting it on the frying pan. It comes out great

  • @joeyferreira100 Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for taking time to write to us and for sharing your tips!

  • take the blood all out, scale is, leave the bones, put it on the grill or fry it, beutiful, but not as good as stripers and sea bass

  • @zander9991 Thanks for sharing! Good luck on the water!

  • Okay

  • Great Video Ivo!

  • @MrAwesomevideos88 Thanks! Good fishing to you!

  • Sawwing a fish is how you lose fingers 6:15

  • @FishingMaster27 Fish steaks are great on the grill and caution is always required when cutting...you can also get proper gloves that will protect you form getting cut, if need be.

Thanks for tuning in and good luck on the water.

  • No need to scale it

  • @FishingMaster27 Thanks for sharing you tip with us and good fishing!

  • I never scaled the fish, we always just filleted them.

but... they are awesome to catch and eat

  • @SPORTSxKiiD12 You're surely right about that! Good luck on the water!

  • 5:23 The black fish head on the left is having fun sliding down!

  • i always heard about bleading a bluefish but im not really sure how to do u have a video for that or is there like a short explanation ffor it?

  • @WTRAIN63 There is a method where you would cut the gills on a blue fish and let it bleed out in your live well before putting it into your cooler.

Thanks for tuning in and good fishing!

  • How do you cook them?

  • @FishOnFishing One way that we enjoy them is grilled on the barbeque. Just baste them with your favorite marinade on both sides as they are cooking. Turn often as not to burn them. Very, very delicious. Thanks!
