@XXTUCHITXX Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for writing in - you'll have to give blue fish a try - if you remove the dark meat, you may notice a difference
The worst way to eat a blue fish......The best way is to fillet it ...remove the blood line...then procede to cook it like any other fillet....dont forget to bleed it when its still alive....you guys do not know anything about blues..thats clear.
@TheSemperFish Thanks for writing in and sharing your tips with us........we also like to fillet Blues, but they are also very tasty "steak'd" and then grilled.
@snaplap747 It's a salt water game fish and it is a lot of fun to catch....they have plenty of sharp teeth, so depending on what you are using for bait, you may need a steel leader.
@jawsflounderace At this time, we do not have a porgy filleting video, but we can try to do one at some point. Meanwhile, we do have a video on cleaning fresh water bass and you could use the same method for salt water porgy.
great tips i always have trouble steaking a big bluefish im gonna try this. by the way you might want to bleed the fish as soon as you catch it it makes the quality of the meat better and the bleed contains high levels of mercury
i prefeer a traditional fillet, and i bread and fry it or just grill the fillet...then I take the head off for crab traps and also use the guts for crab bait
Great job. I go seabass fishing a lot also. When I catch bluefish I take the guts out, scale, and steak them to. Try putting it on the frying pan. It comes out great
@FishingMaster27 Fish steaks are great on the grill and caution is always required when cutting...you can also get proper gloves that will protect you form getting cut, if need be.
@smokestorm88 Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for taking time to write in to us - we have plenty more videos in edit to be released soon, so stay tuned!
@FishOnFishing One way that we enjoy them is grilled on the barbeque. Just baste them with your favorite marinade on both sides as they are cooking. Turn often as not to burn them. Very, very delicious. Thanks!
good vid man, funny thing is im cajun and we fukn eat everything...but we dont eat bluefish. not that i wouldnt try, but we use em for bait!! lmao
