I don"t think that Mickey Rourke or James Gandolfini  would be that good playing the Iceman. Instead, Vincent d"Onofrio or Stone Cold Steve Austin would be better, & more convincing at it. They have a closer resembelance. James Gandolfini should play Roy DeMeo. He would be perfect for that part

Gandolfini's hitman/enforcer role in "True Romance" is seeing what the Iceman was really like. He would be perfect for this movie but sounds like Rourke is the man. I think he can pull it off.  I just hope the script is totally factual and not a bunch of Hollywood BS. I also hope that it starts when he was a kid being beaten by his parents and bullied by the local street gangs to show how he became what he was. I want to see inside the man, not just another violent gangster flick.

Gandolfini (lets agree to start spelling his name correctly) has the look and presence, he's just not tall enough. Yes, Hollywood can play tricks, but Gandolfini is just too short.

I liked Rourke since I first saw him in the movie , Rumble Fish, But I know alot about the ice man, Richard Kuklinski, and the228 murders he claims to have committed. Micky first off is not near as big as the ice man who was 6"5 and over 300lbs. He does not have the same cold, this is just a job, look and attitude that Kuklinski had when he was killing with out any emotions. I am sorry to say that I believe that this will be a poor sell to the movie public. Mr. Carlo sorry for you also.

Iceman is an astounding work, so hopefully this will make an epic film. Who would they get to play Roy Demeo?
