Ive got a question.. So, you dont have to be using the defensive player thats covering the guy you want to shade left or right or press or whatever? i can be using like a LB and set up how i want the reciever to be covered pre snap?
OMFG you are a life saver. This whole time I didnt even know about WR spotlight. I thought it was out for the last couple years.. No wonder my dump purple coverage guys just got burned all day looking like retards. I am a great winning games but had to do tons of pre-set adjustments just to have a chance at stopping those 'greenbay corner deep route abusers".. Thanks. No more having to have a heart attack with presets.. hahaha
The Defense to kill all that...4-6 Defense, Cover 2 Hawk...now this works for me because I typically play on the Free Safety Position, so I can manually cover that Deep Middle while keep an eye on the outside...I usually can run the 4-6 package all game and do have solid D in the run, flats, corners, and deep3rds..The only risk of mine (personally) is that if I bite on Play action pass the deep left will be open.
of course it will leave a hole but its basically used to take away da first read... i personally see the middle n the corner flat wide open but it should be they honestly made zone coverage to good its a escape for those wit no defense... run cover 3 or 4 allday...but this is good foor the outside post n slant that people try n run every play...good vid.
does this take away coverage from the middle or any other area that we need to make adjustment. this is great to know cause it takes away the first read but does it make anything weaker?
So if you spotlight one reciever on one side the other side will be covered as well? And can you help me out on stopping facethrows, I can do them but not perform them as well
@Yomommanessosicity It does adjust your coverage on deep corner, but on slant out it helps those zones play a little deeper so it is still effective to use. There is no one defense for everything, this is used to stop that tactic if people are abusing it

its alot easier to spotlight if you just hold R2 or RT to bring up the play art and hit the receiver button you want to spot light.

y cant u use cover 3 and putt people to the middle and sides of the field

@raymilli They won't get deep enough in a cover 3, the flat defender plays too close to the line
