IMO - Rogers has a lot of confidence riding on his unefeated record, but check out most of his fights... pot bellied newby's that he knocks out at localish events. Not bashing Rogers, confidence is great, but treating Fedor like some other fella, is a big mistake.

this is unfair, rogers needs another 3 or four fights against technical fighters and this match can potentially ruin his career. If he loses fedor will go on beat champion. That rules out ufc as dana wont sign him and no title shot if fedor submits him in first round. His only hope is a quick knock out which i hope he does!!!!

Fedor may have fought a 7 footer with no skillz but Brett is another story-- what makes Fedor good is his versatility and heart-- there have been a few people who hurt him bad but didn't capitalize when they were supposed to...basically didn't finish him- with a guy like that you can't let him hang around. He deserves it.. hell Tim Silvia got over 700k for his fight and he only lasted 36 secs.. I assure you with the way Sergio Cuhna and Mike Reilly are training him, he'll be ready- Brett is a true Heavy weight who has talent- he prefers to knock people out but he has other skills

I know it's pointless to comment on by now, but damn, I wish that Barnett/Emelianenko fight had gone through. Brett Rodgers is this heavy-hitting new breed of heavyweight, but Josh Barnett had credibility, and Fedor needs continued credibility if his stock is to stay high. I'm sure Dana White would like nothing better for Fedor to lose out and come crawling to the UFC looking for promotion, but... I enjoy having fighters in control sometimes. I like execs saying "We need to have you".

this is what exactly happened to crocop, fedor, randleman. when crocop faced randleman, crocop was knocked in less than 30 seconds. when kevin randleman faced fedor, fedor arm bared him. when crocop fought fedor, fedor went up to decision. so i say fedor for the win.
