And her power isn't volentary either. She literally flies about in an orb of darkness crashing into stuff.

Eh, maybe her night vision was sealed along with Ex-Rumia :V

@Raikaria1 Well, seeing involves recepting even the smallest amount of lights and converting them into signals for the brain to read. That cloud apparently blocks out all light so no one can see through it. Is it always out though? That must suck if so.

I wish ZUN could go back to the sound font that he used in EoSD and make music like he use to. The PC-98 games and the Windows trilogy had the best feeling and after that the games got dumbed down and they were not as dark as before.

@momokun90 There is actually a reason for that. The Spell Card rules are there to make fights fair so everyone has a chance of winning no matter who they're up against, so certain powers are either restricted or, basically, banned. For example, Yuyuko can instantly kill anyone that's not immortal, but she doesn't do that. Flandre can destroy anything, but she doesn't--And she's even insane. Another piece of evidence is Medicine Melancholy. She slows you down rather than killing you.

@koerund Well yeah, from the "it's a game" standpoint. I was talking about the in-universe exception of why these people don't abuse their powers in these fights nearly as much as they could.

@ChibiTails What you both say is true. In fact for the ingame stuff, it says that Reimu herself actually wrote the rules for battling,and it is occasionally hinted that she can even govern it.
