Rick Simpsonis absolutely right. We must wake up and demand freedom to chose what is best for our health, a fundamental human right. I have now seen enough examples of cancer cures, as well as failures, to absolutely convince me, as a scientific conservative, that cannabis extracts can cure many cancers in many, but not all, people.

I think it should be there for medical purposes only like cancer of course. Back in the day most people only used alcohol for medical purposes and now everyone uses just to get wasted. Alcohol is legal, but it's illegal to drink and drive or drink and fly.

Prescription drugs are legal, but many have specific warnings against driving or operating machinery whilst taking them.

How far back in time are you going with your 'back in the day'? Beer and wine have been consumed for centuries for pleasure and often as a safer alternative to contaminated water supplies.

I believe that it's very possible that some people are in fact getting cured (using Rick Simpson's Cancer Cure Hemp Oil) in 30-60 days from being treated with Cancer. I think that's a distinct possibility again in animal studies & in tissue culture it kills Cancers. Do I believe that it's possible absolutely, but no nobody's going to do the studies. Because none of these drug companies are going to make money, because they can't patent the plant.

I've never heard or watched such nonsense; cannabis DOES NOT CURE CANCER, it is NOT a miracle drug. Please stop spreading these myths about its medicinal properties. THC has some potential as a treatment for a small number of conditions, but that DOES NOT mean that marijuana should be legalized, and neither should it be smoked, because that is certainly not an appropriate way to administer medicine.

It does cure many types of cancer. There has been much scientific evidence that has shown this in the last ten years, and I can point you to numerous medical journals if you like. Just as powerful is the increasing anecdotal evidence that shows cannabis to be useful in treating skin cancers, brain cancers, and the list goes on. I don't see how you can discredit this, especially when the evidence seems to be piling on.

@zhay783 I think you need to understand the difference between THC (a psychoactive component of cannabis) and marijuana (cannabis prepared to be used as a recreational drug).

"Medical marijuana" advocates have managed to fool the public into thinking that smoking a recreational drug is legitimate medicine. Smoking is never legitimate medicine when a non-smoking alternative exists. Hemp oil is more viable, but ultimately the components of cannabis that are effective treatments for cancer are THC

None of the medical applications of THC and cannabidiol warrant a legalization of recreational marijuana.

I doubt that you have really done any long-term research on the drug with the stance you seem to have. If you want to be convinced, I can point you to several scientific, and medically published studies which show a clear link to cannabis and its anti-cancer properties.

What are the levels and ratios of different cannabinoid compounds in each strain? Can different cannabinoid content ratios be applied to "tune-in" to specific ailments for maximum efficacy?

It's a nice excerpt and while I know that cannabis does have an anti-carcinogenic capacity, the contents of the video does not at all demonstrate this in one way or another to be true. The video is about demonstrating the existence and proliferation of cannabinoid receptors in the brain. In other words, the title of the video is entirely misleading...
