This was one of my favorite tracks from the "Chasing the Sun" CD. I had overlooked the track for a long time, but I charted it as the seventh "single" from the album. It spent ten weeks at #1 on my personal song chart in the spring of 2007 (two years after the CD had been released).

I bought the CD "Chasing the Sun" in June 2005, and seven songs from it have made my song chasrt. "Freedom Song" had a spring feel, so it reached #1 on my song chart in March 2007. It is a great song.
