I actually have a Firewire recording thingy that I got a few months ago. I had a different interface in the past as well, but there's a period between when I had either where all I had was the video. While all of the videos just have the recorded audio from the camera, many of the mp3s on my site were from the direct interface recording. This unfortunately is one I made during that gap, so the mp3 for it is just ripped from the video.
I'm just glad to see I'm not the only one who practices/writes late at night dressed like a dork in 'jammypants, tank-top, and my glasses. :D
Cool 'lil tune - I'm always a sucker for harmonics, and it's also a great demonstration for using multiple loops within a piece. Far too many times here you see people using their loopers for only *one* loop, which begs the question "Why not just purchase a Delay with a large amount of time?"
Thanks a lot. I do have the bass set fairly bright and the high C on a fretless always sounds a bit tinny to me, but the camera does lose a lot of the depth/booty to the tone.
have you considered buying a USB recording adapter thingy? you'd get far better sound on your videos.
i want to hear those riffs sound like you played them \,,/ (-_-) \,,/

im so torn between the frettless and fretted tone.
i have a ken smith BSR5P which i love dearly, but man them vibratos really get to you if done just right plus the warmth of frettless is amazing.
looks like i got to save up for another bass haha

The sound was kind of tinny and brash, but it's likely the fault of the video camera and youtube. I'm sure it sounds much better in person.
On the other hand, I LOVED the playing and the composition. One hearing and it is stuck in my head and I hope it is there all day.
