  • Did you see the eye of satan in the explosion?

  • the very first hole in our ozone layer

  • No Chuck Norris comments visible... halle-fucking-lujah.

  • @kendigjl I'd rather be vaporized by a nuke at 40 than live to be 80, old, feeble, and die of cancer or some shit.

And then back to enternal sleep, just as it was before we were born.....all we get is this little dash between two points (actually dates) on our tombstone

  • 32 people don't understand quantum physics

  • @gmcg923 7 billion people don't understand quantum physics. Including quantum physicists...

  • @eohniuhc555 you sure? I didn't have any trouble :p

  • Someone said this is the one that created Godzilla. Actually, it was probably Ivy Mike.

  • That must be what hell looks like...

  • @CMLaneLV what I meant was, it is perceptually instant because we could not perceive 'it'. BTW, I wasn't in a car accident; I, uh, ejected out of a plane FYI.

  • Smoke monster was here.

  • hey, where'd all my cloud cover go?

  • The nuclear is the stupidest and most terrible think that the humanity discovered and exploited. Fucking stupid shit!

  • jesus christ. You can almost feel the heat on your face through the screen.

  • I find this video hard to masturbate to

  • STUPID AMERICANS!!! None of these bombs should have been tested. All of the islanders were misplaced from their home islands. Many of them were angry and sad because they never got a chance to go back to their home islands and spend their daily lives as they used to. Now, they are all scattered in different parts of the Marshall Islands. These people are still angry. And there are still some people who are affected by the bomb tests!!

  • @rjjackliki i agree but if it wasnt us it would have been some one else and they would USE IT. and if the isreals get one. we the stupid americans and everybody else are in a world of crap

  • @ALLERTORLOVER69 oh shit i mean IRAN

  • @rjjackliki what like 50 people? besides, i built a 2 story, 2 acre house on the island right next to the blast crater; the island are no longer radioactive.

  • @MEATYYOKER....

Point is.....They did not have the science quite down yet and blew up more than they anticipated. You can take as cautionary tale.

It does not take a Nuke to dispace original inhabitants.

Aleuts were cleared out of the Aleutians during WW2 and they never recovered from that.

What is issue that caused you anger?

    Nukes or people on welfare?

  • Is that Shatner? Oh, that Shatner!

  • Bomb yield was way bigger than they designed for.....

they did not think lithium 7 was fissionable material....

    lithium 6 is fissionable...

    casing consisted of both materials...

turns out lithium 7 is fissionable

design was for 6-7MT...they got 16....ooops

  • @eebnamtna

They're blowing shit up. What difference would it make? Oh, wait that's right. That's one of the reasons why we have tons of Mashallese in Hawaii now. We fucked up and had put them all on welfare.

  • This is how Coppercab was born.

  • love this program ,trinity and beyond.have watched it loads of times.

  • ive taken bigger poohs.

  • well good job America! You pointlessly destroyed an island, infested the ocean and killed some natives there.

    Great work!

  • Fuckin japs.....

  • Im still wondering that humans could build multimegaton hydrogen bombs before cameras better than 24p, colour Tv or calculators were developed^^

    What comes next, anti-matter bomb? Go for it Cern! (;

  • Instant vaporization isn't so bad when you consider all the other ways there are to die. Cancer, AIDS, eaten by crocodiles, hit by a car, etc..

And really, no matter how big the bomb, you only die once.

Now, I need to go and get some dinner. All this death talk makes me hungry.

  • @kendigjl you know me too

  • @kendigjl you can only die once..?

Try telling that to someone who's been in a coma. Until they wake up again... If they wake up again... for all they know they died.

Waking up means reliving the whole process of dying once more...

  • @CMLaneLV uh, being in a coma is instant. you can't tell the time passing unless you've induced it yourself, as your anxiety keeps your subconscious awake. just like being knocked out. and i know because i've tried both ways.

  • @sNiP3R0pTiX the first 13.5 billion years of the universe's life was also "instant" in the way that you describe...

Death, sleep, coma, and pre-birth are all "like being dead". Only during our waking life (and perhaps dreaming) do we experience time. Ironically, true eternity is but an instant!

But if the last thing you remember prior to your comatose state is a violent car wreck... for all intents and purposes... you died!! And should you wake, you have to face death yet again!

  • you can almost hear the bomb saying evil evil!!!

  • menschen sind so dumm wie sie ihre welt zerstören !

  • Its amazing how much power God has given us .... This is true test of our goodness will we kill everything for meager power or progress to make these weapons obsolete .

  • @ZackAttack261 Your statement brings to light an uneducated mind on subjects like The Art of war, military & diplomatic history & much much more. The nuclear weapon was invented & built to prevent wars & it accomplished it's purpose during the Cold War. . .

  • @MrDarkmarius I am aware of this ... I support the bombing of Hiroshima but I don't dismiss the fact that we could still kill ourselves with them.

  • @ZackAttack261 Unlikely! The West has finally united with itself & we have even brought Russia into the inner circle as an equal partner. The Russians were by far the greatest threat to the world second only to the United States

  • wow,man kind is getting a bit ridiculous

  • do i hear William Shatner?

  • 日本は、この実験を

    否定し続ける

  • Love Shatner

  • Just hide in the fridge.

  • I'm not much of a government hoax's lover, but I'm absolutely not convinced that Castle Bravo was simply a failed/unplanned/ overly successful mishap. I think it's much more plausible that this baby was designed to spawn the yield it actually did. One simple reason - scare the shit out of the soviets. Second reason - push for the moratorium of (at least) surface testing, to continue the race under the rules which the U.S. liked and were superior - theoretical physics and computer simulations.

  • @soberek There simply wasn't enough compute power to simulate something like a nuclear weapon in 1954. Nuclear weapons simulations are one of the driving forces behind high performance computing, it takes massive amounts of computational power to do it accurately. This just wasn't available in a time before the transistor and really wasn't available until the massively parallel supercomputers of the late 1980s or early 1990s. The explanation for Bravo's high yield is very believable.

  • @Nater245689 Sure, that's why "practical" testing continued until 1990 in Soviet Union, and 1992 in the U.S. By this time, first computers like ENIAC were already used in theoretical designs, including Bravo. By the time of Cray's CDC 6600 (about 1964 and onwards), new weapons designs were done almost entirely theoretically using supercomputers. The final moratorium didn't came until almost 30 years later. The U.S. was always ahead in that field, and that's why I don't believe Bravo was a mishap.

  • The thought of a nuclear war is making me sick, sad and scared. Everything would be wiped out... nature, all those poor animals, humans. Even if you survive, all that's left is a dead poisoned planet void of life, without sunlight, as the countless nuclear explosions would create a massive overcast of radioactive dust and debris.

  • We need to drop one of these things on the Middle East. The towel heads need to be turned into ash.

  • this is the place where spongebob lives, bikini atoll

  • Can we just drop this on the Taliban Faggots?

  • @AccessDenied55 sure, let's kill all those innocent civilians

  • @deeindeein Hey, Taliban are killing innocents by going into markets with suicide vest and blowing themselves up.

  • 2:27 . I c4n hA2 atomic muffin?

  • Why USA not testing such bombs in his territory?

  • holy fuck that is a BIG bomb they thought it was going to be 4 megaton but it was 15 megaton :O

  • It's not the sciences Fault... i don't think that Otto Hahns first thaught was "Wow, what kind of bomb we'll be able to build". Nevertheless it looks wonderful and amazing - the only fault is for what issue these things have been built....

  • Most o f these clips are from the Romeo test not the Bravo!

  • This is why humans can't have nice things.

  • so beautiful

  • I have only one word to say to this.

    FUCK

  • I believe this is from the atomic bomb movie...an interesting documentary which leads one to question WHY people invent this shit . . .

  • He² + He³ = He (well, He^4) plus some Neutrons plus 17,6 MeV per Unit. It's quite easy to realize that one. A better Option would be an Anti-Matter Bomb, blubb...

  • @TheGapminder I'm assuming you're just an idiot, but hydrogen bombs like this use deuterium and tritium fuels for their secondary stage, not helium (although you can fuse helium). Also helium 2 doesn't exist. An anti-matter bomb is not feasible since we actually have to make the antimatter, which requires more energy to produce the stuff than we get out of it. And even then, it's not safe to contain in large amounts.

  • fuck military

  • why should you like this lawl?

  • What has science done?

  • @SS3JackStudios Well, it appears that it has created a nuclear weapon.

  • @SS3JackStudios

made us live up 90+ years!!

  • @SS3JackStudios

You mean : What have politicians done ? They were the ones ordering that to be developed. ;-)

  • @SS3JackStudios

It brought and kept peace between the superpowers.

  • @SS3JackStudios don't forget that science is just a tool and, as a tool, it can be used for the good or the evil of mankind.

  • @SS3JackStudios What hasn't it done?

  • if it wasnt so scary, itd be amazing. i mean, the island they detonated it on is GONE

  • equal to 5 nukes in the tnt mod of minecraft

  • Gotta love the start - the transition from X-rays into visible light. At first you can see a boundary, then the boundary fills with brighter and brighter light as the plasma cools down so that the Boltzman Radiation gets more and more predominately visible light.

It'd be a sight of wonder if it wasn't a weapon intended for mass murder.

  • Not as big as The Tsar Bomba!

  • R.I.P Spongebob

  • whoa

  • is that Shatner narratting???

  • @kremzir Yeah, he narrated the whole documentary "Trinity and Beyond."

  • Never cease to amaze me

  • the real big one is the Tsar Bomba 57 mt megatons = 57,000,000 tons of TNT

  • poor trees D: they all died so they cant give us more H2 for these bombs

  • you people do know they did this for fun wtf was this for exploding an island as a test you preformed many test with nuclear bombs go to google maps and paste this

11° 41'46.36 165°16'49.60 thats the castle bravo corridinates

  • tsar bomba is much bigger

  • That's what happens when Chuck Norris opens a can of whoop-ass.

  • Terminator 2nd ultra-crispy Sarah Connor against a fence scene comes in mind.

  • If extraterrestrial life should be discovered, and they decide to start a fight with us....

I would show them this movie, just to give them a subtile warning about what they're up against.

No matter how advanced some species' technology is developed... I think nothing in this universe is able to withstand the power of an H-bomb.

  • @sarin82 When travelling close to or even faster than the speed of light, a coin sized meteorite is able to impart energy to the craft that is well beyond the energy yield of our most powerful thermonuclear weapons. Space is littered with debris. To travel the vast distances of space at such speeds and survive, they must have some sort of shielding technology or highly advanced metallurgy that we cannot hope to understand with our present grasp of Physics. Our weapons won't even scratch the paint.

  • @edtaylor06 Best someone gets to work on the main deflector ;)

  • @edtaylor06

Interresting approach.. and yes, I have to admit that if they're able to reach us.. that their technology is more advanced then ours.

But still, their technology have to obey the same laws of physics as ours.. and a lot of energy from an H-bomb is beïng released as electromagnetic energy.

This means that IR (heat), UV and gamma (ionizing) rays should be able to reach them just as ordinary light does, thus beïng able to melt any alloy, or bypass any shield they've invented.

  • @sarin82 That depends on how advanced they are.

  • @sarin82 plus the things we can't imagine until we see them.

  • @sarin82 Given the age of the universe, they could be tens of thousands or even millions of years ahead of us.

  • @sarin82 Please, the H-bomb isnt as nearly as powerful as some of the cosmic events that go on. Shit if the aliens were able to harness or create that power say bye bye.

  • @SquadFatherEnt

Nuclear fusion is one of those "powerful cosmic events" you're talking about.. and humans have found means to release considerable quantities of it ( Tsar bomb was approx. 2% of the suns' output in that same amount of time and that type of bomb can be scaled up indefinetely).

No element in the universe can withstand such an amount of energy, it'll vaporize and turned into plasma in seconds.

I'm not talking science fiction, but simple physics.

  • @sarin82 Well if that race is an advance space faring race, dont you think they would have invented protection from that sort of thing. Im sure they have thought of safety in space right?

  • @SquadFatherEnt

Maybe.. but unlikely, humans are spacefaring and we have no protection against such a thing.

  • @sarin82 Think about it, we hav been a spacefaring race since 61. Im sure that if the aliens were to reach us they would have been advancing there tech for hundreds or even thousands of years.

  • fake

  • They mixed in some Castle Union footage.

  • You guys know that the tsar was only a one of they only made one of those

  • @Dragon313035 How were they going to get it here....by plane? Good luck with that.

Ever heard of the Cuban Missile Crisis?

The USSR was fucking scared shitless because they had almost no ICBMs actually able to hit the US....we had them and we also had Jupiter missiles in Turkey with nukes!!!

They wanted to put some nukes on our back porch too.

  • When the implications are considered, this video becomes extremely disturbing.

  • American selfish assholes. They could have detonated it in the air resulting in less radioactive dammage. Guess the "superior nation" didnt think about that. Fkin bastards.

  • @Bobcheloo

    I'm not selfish. I didn't detonate it.

  • @Bobcheloo : Selfish? You mean the fact that they weren't expecting such an exceeded yield in the first place, and thus not that kind of radioactive fallout? Yeah, not so much. Also, if you notice the weapon itself, it wasn't a bomb or anything and couldn't be taken up with a plane.

  • @Bobcheloo if u hate america thats just fine, but dont go around spreading your opionion THIS way, or any way really. or just simply.. GET OFF OF YOUTUBE!!!

  • Chuck Norris just farted.

  • It's Super Effective!

  • Im glad that the us has this...I call it the peace keeper

  • Comment removed

  • why is everything red?

  • What a bunch of assholes, ruining a perfectly nice tropical island.

  • None of them contries are sacred they say 'oh we want peace' and yet they make bombs that are bigger to destroy other contries, they compete to see who can make the biggest bomb so all i can say is that both contries are fucking idiots that cant agree.

If u think im right then give me thumbs up because this is not right at all

  • None of them contries are sacred they say 'oh we want peace' and yet they make bombs that are bigger to destroy other contries, they compete to see who can make the biggest bomb so all i can say is that both contries are fucking idiots

  • The power of these things changes the way i think of myself

  • @thebangover

dude the ussr detonated tsar bomba within a few years of this. Bravo was not air deliverable and was a yield of 15 megatons, and only designed for 5. Tsar bomba was designed as a 100 megaton bomb. It was reduced to 50 mt but was air deliverable and was even weaponized.

  • @zoogles1 Fuck you too!

  • Everyone says there will be a nuclear fallout but the truth is a cauntry containing nukes wouldn't have the balls to bomb other countries with the likes of this, whether it be the (US,UK,RUS,etc) because they no the consequences they will recieve from other countries whether it be a bomb coming back to you or hate from other countries. I know the US bombed japan but thats nothing compared to 100 of these! and that was before the rules of modern warfare

  • @gamextreme23 just one bomb with the same amount as "BRAVO" would decimate an entire small-medium sized country if it were to be detonated on the ground ...mostly by the fallout .a nuclear war is something that should never-ever happen .'cause every breathing soul will suffer the consequences .

  • Talk about HEAT!

  • Chuck's new weapon

  • The poor japanese just can't get away from radiation. First Hiroshima, then Nagasaki, then Castle Bravo, now Fukushima Daiichi.

  • Next time they'll invent reusable nuclear bombs.

  • Nice- Just to emphasize the horror you see a bird fall out of the tree on fire as the trees start to smolder. Its like T2

  • and in Austria we use "Schweizerkracher" pretty simillar to a hydrogen device...

amazing power, but a sad thing too...destroying the home of the people who lived there...

  • BIG BANG ATTAAAACK -Vegeta

  • The explosion would have been even bigger if the bomb didnt detonate next to the ground, but a little bit above it..

  • Good job fucking up the world

  • chuck norris cout with stand that

  • please throw Justin Bieber in that island

  • @sojtesttest that will be good!!!

  • @sojtesttest thats an insult to the radiation !

  • At 2:31, that isn't Castle Bravo anymore. That's Castle Romeo.

  • The islanders were evacuated two days after the test but returned in 1957.

They left again in 1985 due to continuing fears about the effects of the nuclear contamination and continuing health problems, including a high incidence of thyroid cancers and birth defects.

Robie was on board the Rainbow Warrior in 1985 when it evacuated over 300 people and their belongings from Rongelap atoll to Mejato Island 180 kilometres (about 112 miles) away.

    Fucking army&scientist

  • hehe funny... Edward Teller at 00:30...

  • looks just like hell

  • Man, the japs haven't gotten a break from radiation since 1945.

  • 2:00 (BEUITFUL!!!!!!)

  • @koolkiddmaker4 (beAuTIful)

  • If the worlds going to hell and im going to die imma be sure to take taking Bill Gates

    with me god damn microsoft

  • Hmmm as some one was saying earlier the Tsar Bomba is a lot bigger about 50 megatons, compared to Castle Bravos 25? 15? even though the Tsar Bomba packs a bigger punch the Tsar Bomba cost's about lets say 500 million us dollars (just an example probably {most likely} much more) ,And Castle Bravo would be around 200million us dollars (again just an example) so for every Tsar Bomba the U.S.S.R could produce the us would have 10 - 50 Castle Bravo's

an even trade if i do say so myself

  • @Jay22110001 Tsar Bomba was world's first powerful and accurate Thermo-nuclear bomb but US still want to make a such powerful nuclear bomb....because everyone's knows that US doesn't want to stay behind from Russians and become a World's No. 1.....and they did it in 1991, they made another Castle Bravo with 50 megatons of TNT alongwith new technology which could fire it in a accurate position like Russian Tsar Bomba..........But they left this project because it might generate powerful fallout..

  • @dk7e7 they made it bigger with a bigger plane cuz they couldn't get something more precise, well we had ICBMs that could reach across the ocean. we were going for more accurate weapons, well they were saying "we dont have to hit you there, cuz we can drop it there and still kill you"

  • @LightfeatherxX

That is very true! At least someone knows their history. The Russians were basically still stuck in the stone age with the Tsar bomb. What also floors me is there are still dozens of classified yield tests done by the US immediately after the Tsar was detonated. I'd love to know some of those yields someday.

  • is that william shatner talking?

  • @Hurrican3AJ1 Science is scary.

  • god bless America

  • oh my gush

  • In soviet russia,,, we're fucking scared.

  • @thebangover are you that stupid castle bravo 15 mt soviet union tsar 50 mt

  • @sadruberducky but fucking russia doesnt have balls

  • @thebangover Russia has bombs that make this one look like a firecracker.

  • @thebangover

In Soviet Russia ... we have Tsar Bomba

  • @thebangover

In soviet russia you have the Tsar Bomba...

  • @thebangover If they try anything just hit them with a Tzar!

  • @12Jakeyboy If your mom tries anything ill hit her with my dick!

  • @thebangover uh...a normal response there...

  • @thebangover are you fucking high??? have you heard of the tsar bomba, the largest nuke ever detonated??

  • @rawjokes shut up pussy! holy shit!

  • @thebangover listen twat I don't care if you want to be the 1 billionth person to change a shitty Yakov Smirnoff bit, but the tsar bomba was 100mt, scaled down to 50mt because it was undeliverable, because it could have knocked the world off its axis. Compared to castle bravo that was a only 15mt, that just wrecked some hawaiian skirts on a atoll.

  • @thebangover in soviet russia we have tsar bomba so screw you americans

  • @thebangover Why would you be scared? You made the Tsar Bomb... Almost 3 times as powerful.

  • @thebangover To everyone whos going to reply, I KNOW THEY MADE THE TSAR SHUT THE FUCK UP!

  • @thebangover No the americans were fucking scared we built this bomb because the soviets built a more powerful bomb

  • @thebangover Ve're so mooch scared ve had to build a 100 Mton design and test it at only 50 Mton. ;)
