  • keep a high viz in the boot? what for, incase people cant see behind the wheel?

  • Incorrect statement In the video. It Is Not the drivers responsibility to make sure passengers are wearing there seat belts if they are over the age of 14.

  • very helpful video but i HATE ford ka's

  • Well they forgot something quite important....

They forgot to mention that on some cars that the Indicator and windscreen wiper sticks are on opposite sides. this has been particularly known in bedfords, vauxhalls, Suzukis and other past GM and french cars.

also note if you drive a french car, please make sure you know how to indicate right as it is frustrating on a mian A road when someone indicates left and goes the opposite way....

  • start driving on the the right side ....

  • She forgot blunt wraps. Those are existential.

  • ''Learning to Drive: Car Essentials'' - since when was learning about the window wipers essential? or adjusting your seat? Wouldn't it be more appropriable to actually show how to start a car correctly? Because I don't know about you but I think that's pretty important.

    Get a grip.

  • im going to start learning could u do a video on actually starting and moving the car?Xx

  • @RAR6063

  • in the uk are all cars standard? because every single vid i see from the uk they're driving standard cars...im from canada so i dunno

  • this should be a driving video for blonds.

  • no wonder this is messing me up im from the usa everything looks like a mirror in this car yikes!!!!! =[[

  • "Don't forget to check you have water in your washer bottle for when you need to clean your windscreen" False and incorrect!

Never use water, well is it really that warm in the UK the whole year? If the temprature drops below zero, you are screwed. Never use water, use windscreen fluid as it doesn't freeze in zubzero.

  • yeah ford has messed up big time with the ford taurus(not new), focus.

  • I like the new Taurus, yeah it is big, but what American car isn't? I hope that Ford do take the new Focus to America, it might show them that small cars can be just as good as big ones.

  • thanks for sharing

  • Im in america, and that car looks awesome. wish we had it

  • are you serious?? no offence but I hate that car, it looks depressing!

  • yea it does. its sad that most cars can represent our economy lol random joke haha

  • Yeah, I agree. The mark one KA was visualy crap, I mean as a quality product (in terms of the engine and gearbox) it was good, but it was designed to be cheap, news for you Ford! TOO CHEAP!!!

  • yehh ford ka looks lovley :) its brother is the ford fiesta mk 3

  • ive had 6 driving lessons and still in industrial estates, is that normal, would like some onfo or am i getting ripped off ???

  • it is normal, ur instructor will want to make sure that you are safe, then he will start to take you onto more busy roads

  • 6 hours is mandatory so im doing 3, 2 hour lessons

  • Its common sense to be able to spell but 'obviously' you can't do that.

Your comment is slightly ironic don't you think. HA!

  • yeh the seat is on the right and u gotta stick in the left lane in the uk, same in australia

  • I live in the U.S. and will learn to drive this year. Can this video apply to U.S. residents, too? =)

  • Hi GenieBella,

Thanks for your comment! This video applies to UK driving, but is relevant to driving in general. However, I believe most US cars are automatic (i.e. not 'stick-shift') so the tips about gears might not be relevant - also you guys sit on the opposite side of the car! Good luck with the driving lessons.

  • @GenieBella ... youtube.com/watch?v=DbHuJOBsgSE&NR=1&feature=fvwp

  • Who on earth keeps that much stuff in their boot?

  • Forgot to mention the lipstick and the hair styling kit :)

  • All I've got in my boot is a flat spare tire. Ha!

Me, i also have a tent and inflatable life raft ;)

  • @HB45175 We Yanks do! It's an annoying habit but when we pay only 50-55p/litre, we get lazy...
