Why I am getting the impression you guys are putting these videos together based on number spewed out by a video game, and not actual knowledge of the performance of the aircraft you are comparing here?
Those Germans were f#ckers, but they sure built nice airplanes. As for Spitfire? The WW2 pilots that flew both said that what a Spitfire could do for 45 minutes, a Mustang could do all day long.

@germaniajim Yak-3 and LA-7 are the planes that Luftwaffe hated most, but agree, hurricane lacks the performance and the impact to make it in the list.
the fw-190 has more agility than the 51... the 51only can be better than the 51 at high altitude(obiusly the 51 was very great at high altitude) but the 190 was the owner of the sky between the 5000 and 1000 mts
strong armament, great shield, great visibility(not betther than te 51, but very great) the 190 have a lot of things better than the 51... rembember that the 190 had a BMW 801 D and the 51 a Packard Merlin ... the packard merlin was a great engine..(i think one of the best)

In fact the Germans lost so many airplanes above Holland that they never were able to get up the numbers during the whole war. Dive into the history of The Fokker G1 & D21 the best aircraft around at the start of WW2
the mustang may actually climb a little faster, 3,475fpm Full internal load, maybe 3,600fpm with a reduced internal load. the D-9 3,300fpm, i hear maybe faster with a paddle prop, some 4,000fpm, but i see more figures of 3,300. the Mustang is more durable, a D-9 was taken down by a Bird smashing into its radiator, Imagine Machine gun bullets. Lastly, the mustangs range is far greater, 2,000 miles with large drop tanks, 1,800 with reduced fuel load to benefit performance Vs 500 for the D-9
im not trying to be a stickler, this is just my opinion XD but i greatly agree with your 1 Choice, the mustang is just not going to take that away, the spitfire is Graceful as a ballerina, and deadly as hell. as i said before, it maneuvers with grace, and is easy to make maneuver. the mustang, even with a realistic load, i don't know if it could keep up really, and with a exception of the bubble canopy and well placed gages, its not as easy fly and especually to maneuver as the spitfire
the FW-190D-9 may be a very close contender, but the mustang may be slightly better Dogfighter.., the mustang PROPERLY LOADED has a turn rate of less than 22 seconds to do a 360, the Dora... as its called a little over 22 seconds, so its close, but not close enough, beacuse as air speed drops, the mustang pulls away. the mustang is faster by 8mph 448mph with W.E.P boos, vs the Focke Wolf D-9s 440mph. and the mustang does not need as much power to perform like it does.
Good video! lots of good pictures, in my opinion the best Dogfighter is the Spitfire... its Agility is a thing of grace, it is its trade mark, it turns with ease, and rolls quickly, and is verry easy to maneuver!
however... i dont think the FW-190 even the D-9 is truly a better Dogfighter than the P-51, but thats my opinion. a properly loaded mustang has a much better sustained turn, is faster, and out climbs most of the 190s, and has a higher service sealing, and a much..... better range.
But dont dare discount the Focke Wulf, or under estimate it, beacuse you will be dead and fast, The radial powered variants have a roll rate Nearly Twice as fast as the mustang! if they did not have a poor sustained turn it would be hell for the mustang, the Radial powered variants are durable as hell beacuse there engines are air cooled! and mostly... Variants like the A-8 earn the nickname butcher bird for a reason, they are loaded to the gills with fire power far greater than the mustangs.
@angryace13 oh yeah cuz theres a comment in here that ask the one that uploaded the video if he asked permission from the pictures owners so i said that nobody asks for permission on nothing these days you just take the picture and make it on a video thats why i wrote that X-D
unless the picture says Copyright... i use them, in my honest opinion, its a photograph.... and he is just using it in a video, so your right, who cares... its not like he is saying he took the pictures himself. now if they where $100,000,000 paintings and he was making a video of them saying he painted them when he didn't, then i would claim art theft. but in this case he didn't do that, beacuse i know for a fact, first hand that he asks to use things.
@angryace13 and im with you on that there are like 1,000s of pictures about airplanes so looking for there rightful owners will be like trying to find a needle in field grass but really if hes making money out of these pictures the owners will appear like a plague of mosquitoes or flies or whatever is a plague oh and i forgot to mention my favorite ww2 fighter's is the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 the P-51 Mustang and the Supermarine Spitfire good dogfighters

you don´t say anything about the time the aircrafts were invited,
you don´t say something about the exactly model of the aircraft,
you don´t say for which it was jused, .....
this could alos made a little child
next time you pl think about what which planes you are comparing.
just to google it isn´t enough for a true video
