How can you say that Genesis wasn't even a good PPV, I thought it was very good. Truthslayer is a WWE mark that makes too many videos, bashing TNA wrestling and prasing ROH.
Saying something isn't good doesn't mean it's bad. And after all, it wasn't exactly a huge ppv with great buildup and tons of great matches. It was a pretty damn average PPV with a shit ending that ruined the "Good PPV" rating.

I think getting crimson blood/johnny the bull was a smart move. Raven/Havok would make no sense, because Raven hates Mitchel.
They were obviously using Black Reign to take Judas' place, and were having mediocre results. With Crimson in the feud, Black Reign will take a backseat.

The cage vs Kaz match was great. didn't like the interference at the end kinda killed the flow a bit. But overall it was very good. Nice to Tna pushing there homegrown talent finnally.
For the most part it was a thumbs in the middle ppv. The x-division match was ok I thought some moves weren't sold properly and the finish come out of nowhere. You'd expect dutt to mount some kind of comeback after west said "what does he have to do to put dutt away" The roode and Joe match was very wwe style nothing you wouldn't see from your average ecw main event. The tag match at the end was garbage. An overbooked crapfest. Why can't tna every have a clean finish in there main events???
Kaz is NOT going to win the title and he's not wrestling for it at a ppv. They're are slowly trying to establish him a upper midcard star and eventually he will get higher on the card.

I don't. I felt it was a great match with Michaels trying a whole new style of working on a body part. I love that. That's how wrestling is supposed to be. However the ending was probably the worst choice. I would have taken anything aside from a blatant DQ.

I was really surprised it started off on the right track. They started with the right champion, and the right person to feud it over. But the Genesis match showed what TNA thinks of the division.
The match was a candy match, for the lack of a better word. Don West acting like Jerry Lawler on commentary. The camera man doing nothing but focusing on everyones ass, complete with close-ups. The whole ODB spanking gimmick bullshit. I don't know if they're trying to make it serious or not.
What is going to kill the women's division is most of the division either isn't good or saddled with gimmicks that kill their ability. Nikki Roxx is a good wrestler. She's not great, but she's good. Having to be a Voodoo queen means she has to add shit into her matches that drags them down. Christy Hemme is improving, but she's given such a shitty character that no one could ever care about her and her pack of losers. Then there's a few women who just aren't good.

They beat down the X Division to build up a feud. Then put them over in ppv matches were it matters. lightning116 you need to learn how wrestling works before attempting to prove a point.
It was Hardcore for no reason it was hardcore just to be hardcore. Hardcore matches work at there best when they are there to end fueds not the middle of one which this is. It was a hardcore match just to have a hardcore match and it was a BAD old ECW match on top of that. I would be fine with them still fueding wtih X-Divison but they didn't need to get there heat back ON the PPV. It makes the X-Divsion look Week.
Lethal and Dutt had just finished a match then they were attacked by 3D that doesn't make them look weak it puts 3D over as heels even more so it will mean more when 3D puts over Lethal and Dutt.
Much like Angle did the same thing for Lethal at No Surrender, only to have the credibility that Angle gave Lethal thrown down the toilet on the exact same night.
I thought everything besides Abyss/Reign, Tag Titles match and main event was okay. The aforementioned matches were extremely underwhelming, and yet another main event where there's tons of interference.
Also Ms. Brooks wasn't attacked, she legit collapsed from heat exhaustion.

Genesis was a wicked PPV, sooooo much better than Cyber Sunday and I would almost bet money that it will be better than Survivor Series too. Victory Road, No Surrender, BFG and now Genesis... TNA is on a roll right now. Im a happy man with both TNA and ROH putting on quality PPVs. Let's face it, WWE has been shite since Backlash.
How was it SO much better than Cybersunday? UT vs Dave was as good as the ladder match, HHH vs Umaga was better than anything BUT that match then you have the Ray match and the HBK vs Orton match woudl have been AMAZING if they hadn't screwed it up with the ending so that droped it down to OK. The Worse Match on CyberSunday was better than 2 matches on this card and you could say 3 matches as well depending on how well you liked or didn't like the STiners match.
well, i kind of agree with your review but still.. the shop of horrors match was actually a good match, i mean black reign getting chockeslammed off the stage, abyss going into the rat traps,barb wire bat i mean it was cool.
It wasn't better than Bound For Glory or Sacrifice. The mainevent wasn't a good match at all, they did botch the finish with Angle having to go out of the ring and fetch the ref for the pin.
Cage/Kaz Ladder Match was awesome, I agree, 4 stars.
I'd also give the MMG/Team3D match 4 stars.
I thought the Dutt/Lethal match deserved atleast 3 stars aswell.

You have the right not to agree with it, but that's how he feels. TNA PPV's are extremely underwhelming to me. The same main event formula keeps being used with interference having a major influence the last couple of PPV's. It gets really old, I didn't pay to watch this, but this is a major reason why I don't purchase TNA PPV's, I don't pay to see indecisive finishes or overbooked matches, they could be used for Impact, but TNA doesn't have their priorities straight with booking.

I have to say..This PPV was GOOD..really good. Not great..but good. TS..You're being waaay too harsh. Genesis was good..alot better than No Mercy and Cyber Sunday..ALOT better.
Alot better? How so? The mainevent for Cybersunday was as good as the Laddermatch maybe even a bit better and the HHH Umaga match was better than anything other than the ladder match on the card. This is a PPV that alot of people are going to like more than others as it really hinges on a few matches and how much you liked them as to how good you thought the PPV was which is why I gave it a 6.7
Mhm MCMG's Vs The Dudleyz was the only match I cared about & yup it was actualy good, even Sabin's backflip off the slanted Table made me say "holy crap" witch is rare I get that surprised anymore

Um lets see I gave Dutt vs. Lethal 2 3/4 and the main event 2 stars..so yes I thought the Dutt vs. Lethal match was better. As I said the 3D match was a minor grip but I am not the only one to bring it up as I did like the match..oh and thank you for Honoring us with your benevolent Presence.
Oh and just so you know if you want to call my ratings out of line...check out 411mania and the Torch as all the reviews on both sites where fairly close to my own.

Yeah, I heard that Ms. Brooks fainted during the match with Samoa Joe and Robert Rhode. Supposively it was cause of the heat in the building and she couldn't take the heat. So they actually brung in the EMT's to check on her. She is fine now. Just letting u know. In the words of the Instant Classic, "If u didn't know, now u know."
Ms. Brooks actually passed out, they said on tna headlines it was really legit, she passed out apprently from over-heat, She did look like her clothes were a little tight.
and what does the durvivor series match really mean anyways? i mean it doesn't really have anything to do with any titles or anything like that so its basically just alot of top guys in the same match.

Booker has been my favorite wrestler since as long as I can remember but I hope impact doesn't turn into the Sting, Angle, Nash, and Booker show.
Sanjay and Lethal were the best of the show hands down.

well, i kind of agree with your review but still.. the shop of horrors match was actually a good match, i mean black reign getting chockeslammed off the stage, abyss going into the rat traps,barb wire bat i mean it was cool.

Christian Cage putting over Kaz is possibly the biggest putting over of someone all year. A quality match between two great guys.

It wasn't better than Bound For Glory or Sacrifice. The mainevent wasn't a good match at all, they did botch the finish with Angle having to go out of the ring and fetch the ref for the pin.
Cage/Kaz Ladder Match was awesome, I agree, 4 stars.
I'd also give the MMG/Team3D match 4 stars.
I thought the Dutt/Lethal match deserved atleast 3 stars aswell.
AJ telling Tomko he was the team captain backstage after Christian's promo was the funniest backstage segment of the night

Even "IF" you give MMG/3D four stars I still wouldn't put this over bound for Glory as there was to much other crap on there. And your Also telling me that MMG/3D was better than HHH vs Umaga? Sorry I don't agree

well i would say MCMG vs Team 3D was better that Triple H vs Umaga.
and also i actually cared about the MCMG/Team 3D match, it actually meant something unlike triple h umaga that was just to make triple h win AGAIN.

You have the right not to agree with it, but that's how he feels. TNA PPV's are extremely underwhelming to me. The same main event formula keeps being used with interference having a major influence the last couple of PPV's. It gets really old, I didn't pay to watch this, but this is a major reason why I don't purchase TNA PPV's, I don't pay to see indecisive finishes or overbooked matches, they could be used for Impact, but TNA doesn't have their priorities straight with booking.

Yeah i would rather see the dutt/lethal, MCMG/Team3D, and the Kaz/Christian ladder match over batista/undertaker.

I have to say..This PPV was GOOD..really good. Not great..but good. TS..You're being waaay too harsh. Genesis was good..alot better than No Mercy and Cyber Sunday..ALOT better.

Alot better? How so? The mainevent for Cybersunday was as good as the Laddermatch maybe even a bit better and the HHH Umaga match was better than anything other than the ladder match on the card. This is a PPV that alot of people are going to like more than others as it really hinges on a few matches and how much you liked them as to how good you thought the PPV was which is why I gave it a 6.7

Mhm MCMG's Vs The Dudleyz was the only match I cared about & yup it was actualy good, even Sabin's backflip off the slanted Table made me say "holy crap" witch is rare I get that surprised anymore

Um lets see I gave Dutt vs. Lethal 2 3/4 and the main event 2 stars..so yes I thought the Dutt vs. Lethal match was better. As I said the 3D match was a minor grip but I am not the only one to bring it up as I did like the match..oh and thank you for Honoring us with your benevolent Presence.

Yeah, I heard that Ms. Brooks fainted during the match with Samoa Joe and Robert Rhode. Supposively it was cause of the heat in the building and she couldn't take the heat. So they actually brung in the EMT's to check on her. She is fine now. Just letting u know. In the words of the Instant Classic, "If u didn't know, now u know."

It's almost a definite that Survivor Series is going to be worse that this month's TNA PPV.
The only drawable match that they have on the card so far is Batista/UT in HitC.
Good luck getting your money's worth with that card.

WWE title match might be good. The whole stipulation thing is going to be messy.
We all know what's going to happen in the Team HHH vs Team Umaga match:
a)rehash of last year's survivor series, heel team gets completely squashed
b)Triple H plays the sole survivor and wins, coming back from 4-5 to 1.

The Survivor Series match is going to be the beginning of HHH's annual push to the WWE title.

I'm not so sure.
They've already announced 6 matches for the card, and off the top, 2 of those matches are going to be pretty bad.
Time can really affect on of the matches, and bad booking can affect the other.
In my opinion, the only fail proof match on the card is HitC, just because UT is the only guy that Batista works hard with, in the ring.
