  • Mozart is smiling down on these two superb musicians

  • Is she using left pedal sometimes, e.g. at 5:37? Those are some gorgeous pianissimos.

  • @Caramellatta I would say so. Because when I play this peice with my friend, I always use the Una Corda to create that beautiful Pianissimo sound.

  • by far the most inspired version I ever heard....even Perlman/Barenboim can't compete!

it reminds me of Mozart words: love, love, love, that is the soul of genius....

  • a perfomance like this reveals what an incredible gem this is....

    thanks you Gil&Orli,

    thank you Mozart

  • BreathTaking... Shocking... Amazing...Incredible...

  • Besides a great performance, clear, precise intensity, this is a great recording! Way better than any recorded studio I have! :-)

  • Give some visibility to the names of the artists!!! Gil & Orli Shaham (they're siblings).

  • Oh Mozart, what can one add to this!

  • impresionanteeeeee!!!!

  • Stunning performance of this dramatic little masterpiece by Mozart. You should name the musicians, Gil and Orli Shaham, to give them the credit they deserve.

  • the pianist is superb!!!her interpretation is flawless!!!bravo!!!!

  • Love his expression throughout the whole piece! He carries you away with it.

  • Amazing... a miracle...

  • Thank you for uploading this wonderful video!

I am a big fan of Gil Shaham^v^

  • gil shaham and his sister, Orli Shaham!!

  • @fernsehenNYC

    Love him...and her!!!

  • Gil Shaham is the violinist

  • Who are they? Just put some details in the description, ffs! soloists, time and place, whatever...

  • The best performance of this piece! I am about to learn this too!

  • One of Mozart's more dramatic first movements, very striking - as a matter of fact, BOTH instrumentalists are doing quite a lot of "striking" of their "axes" here!

Still, it IS a "Wolfie-Wonder" of a piece, and so has plenty of point/counterpoint, as well as some sweet moments, such as @2:15 or so - for about 25 seconds.

Thanks so much for posting this great 'live' version!
