I interviewed Cliffie several times on radio and I did a lot of shows with him in the 1980s and 1990s. This song was written in part by his daughter Linda. Cliffie heard her jumping rope and singing some of these lyrics. Cliffie said it was the first Rap song. My guess is that is Billy Leibert on piano.
