Virtual Console should work too, it has the freezing bug fixed that plagued the Gamecube version. But yes, you should buy the gamecube ( Wii can also play GC games) again.

Not only for the first-party titles like the both Zeldas, Metroid Prime 1 & 2, Pikmin 1 and especially 2, but also for the rather unknown stuff, like F-Zero GX (best racing game ever!), Sphinx and the cursed Mummy, Viewtiful Joe and Beyond Good and Evil. Combined with the great PS2 really a great generation.

I think the Swordsman secret is one of the smartest in the game. Earlier you hear him brag about his plan to jump up and slice the moon into two pieces.But there he is on the third night. Cowering in a secret room fearing his imminent death just as much as everyone else in town. it sums up Majora's Mask so perfectly, they mask their fear for 3 days, but when it comes down to it, they're as terrified as any of us would be

First, stop Sakon, the thief from stealing the bomb bag (I don't know if it works when you kill him).

After that, go to the curiosity shop at the night of the final day and buy the mask for 500 rupees.

If you mean the Oni Link Mask, simply get all masks in this game and clear all challenges in the "final dungeon".

He's talking about the challenges you face while you're on the moon. You'll find 5 kids each wearing the 4 boss masks, who are prancing near the tree, and Majora by himself. Talk to 4 and trade them ALL your masks. Beat their mini dungeons, then when you trade all your masks, talk with Majora and he'll give you the Fierce Diety/Oni Link. After you beat the game, and restart you'll have all your 24 masks, including the diety
