Black cats are the cutest. I have one also (with a tiny patch of white). Other than the evil black cat stereotype, Ive often heard people arent as drawn to them cause their plain. How on earth is gorgeous black fur plain? They stand out the most if you ask me. It makes me sad that my little black kitty couldve been killed at the shelter where i got him simply cause of his color.

My dad thought it might be a change from generic black cat names like Sooty or Blacky so he called him that and we stuck with it! He's getting old now, bless him. It'll be sad to see him go, but he's been my best friend for a very long time. I love that cat. <3

I've had two black cats: Jinx (long since gone), and now Rorschach aka Rory, a now 2-year old cat. Jinx was mischevious and a bit wicked: she had a fetish for stealing or breaking jewelry in particular and wasn't much one for obeying orders. She got really cuddly as she turned about 7 or 8. Rory, on the other hand, is extremely well-behaved but will not cuddle. At all. Even a little. It's frustrating, but funny at the same time.

Aww I know how you feel... I've had my cat (the one in this video) ever since I was 6. And now I'm 17! There was another cat I had since I was 4, but she died when I was 14. :'( But I was happy to know she died of old age, and that she lived a long and happy life. =] Don't worry about when he might die, just be happy that he's with you right now. =)
