Usual, in any rpg the Regular Battle theme started to annoy half way trough.

This is easily the best battle theme ever. It never lets up. The beat is constantly going, and the guitar lead is awesome.

I liked this song waaay better than the battle theme in the first game. This one had more of a driving theme instead of a repeatitive, slower feel (like the first one).

A damn good one, that's for sure. Awe from Strange Journey is pretty incredible, too. Epic enough to fit most final bosses.
I think I -like- this one better, but Awe is more epic.
