I bet that is probably one of the most realistic execution scenes ever in terms of the mechanics of such a situation. Many people talk a good fight but for the average person facing a violent situation is something that is completely alien and shocking to them.

Terrible? The wig? It is perfect. Stewart looks just like the pictures of the real Sejanus (that is, a statue of him). Stewart is a terrific actor, who did this role perfectly.

It looks like soggy 'mini-shreddies' to me.
I've replaced my videos with the DVD format and watched the series quite a few times now but never noticed this before.

I've been getting through this series via Netflix this past month and I don't remember this either. I don't even remember them ever saying "Postumous is dead", there were just referring to him in the past tense and that was that.
