I do, too, has a big head, just like you. but i wear in ear, xD have you try sennheiser? their in ears are amazing, bose in ears are pretty good, but it's twice the price for the same sound as the sennheisers. you should try them out.

Anyway I did test another pair of Bose with a slightly bigger ear cup, I can't for the life of me remember what they were called but I was very impressed. I don't think you can go wrong with Bose to be fair. Hope this kinda helps.

I bought the over ear headphones and thought these had better be good for the money... I can only repeat what you said, they are just amazing and prefer to watch films wearing them, (which doesn't make the rest of the family happy). The only downside is that I now only want all things Bose :-)
Strictly speaking, in the UK there are some shops that allow samples, but only on certain lines. I believe bigger HMV stores do as well as most apple stores. But no matter how you look at it there is a great need for sample earphones.
Your right some of the bigger HMV stores do have some samples but wouldn't it be nice to see a specialist store that allows customers to test headphones and speakers!! I hate picking headphones that are all wrapped up in plastic. No manufacturer is going to say their product is crap so you only have the price and a whole load of trust to go off.
Very true, there is a lot of risk involved in buying things like headphones and trust in a brand only helps to a certain extent, I've been let down numerous times by brands I believed had a good quality. It's definitely an issue that needs some addressing. I'm thinking about getting these headphones this week. Does the sound leak? In other words...If other people are around you, can they hear the music you're listening to? The Bose around ear headphones i own seem to do that, and I want a pair of headphones that do not do so...
The headphones are made of a combination. Each headphone (the silver bits) are actually plastic and the bit that goes over your head is a combination of metal and plastic. If you wanted to you could tear them apart lol thats why they come with a nice carry case. Unless you are planning on smashing your head on a wall when wearing them you'll be fine and they will last. Its all about the weight and sound quality

Good stuff, remember to spend a good 10 mins just testing out the heaphones and competition in store. Some people prefer the sound of some of the rivals. I was just really cheeky and swapped all the headphones round until i found the pair that was best for me. I personally felt that the Bose had the best all round sound.
It all depends on what suits you and your music style best. You know when you get the right one's these are perfect for me and my needs. i listen to lots of genre's so they are perfect for me as they are an all-rounded headphone - no good for jogging though lol!

wrap arounds are best for security - this pair would eventually fall off if you were running or jogging etc. this pair of head phones are the best option for appreciating your music collection at its fullest on the go!
I put off buying these for sooooo long but yes honestly they are worth the price - test them out before you buy them - the apple store was pretty loud when i tested them and they were good - but when i got home a really found out how good they were - If i leave home without them I turn the car round and grab them - even if i'm running later for work! that's how good they are
They are not noise canceling phones but hell yeah they are pretty good! I feel like i'm in a bubble of sound when ever i walk through the city centre!

I have the same headphones, they are outstanding, i have a question, i had bought the first pair i had for $120.00 and i noticed they had like some rope,shoe lace material on the cord and wanted to know if you noticed any differences with the cords. I returned them the next day and got another brand new pair and i just have the regular cord that you have. Just let me know if you have heard of anything like that. Thanks
I haven't seen any versions with a rope like covering to the cord. My headphones have the standard cord - its a bit strange really? but at least you have the right one's now - i agree that they are amazing headphones- changed my life ! and the way i listen to music!
