The courts have made unionizing very difficult to form unions, companys are free to fire workers for talking about it. Off shoring jobs helps keep unions at bay as well. Unions act as Watchdogs and Safety Inspectors and Quality Inspectors and keep the Corporations Accountable for their Actions, Decisions, Promises & Behaviors. They are like Lobbyists for the American Consumers and the American Employees. Some Unions may be corrupt, but most of the Unions are not and they look out for the people that are working at the companies and the consumers that are buying the services and products.
