@Res87 In the toolset, the prismatic dragon's fortitude save is 37. However, 25 for the destruction DC is legit (it is 17+[Wis modifier]+[Spell Focus feats]). So for this character, the player has taken no focus feats, or feats to enhance wisdom. The max DC you can get is around 43 for the Destruction spell, and 47 (due to bug) I believe with Implosion, without cheats. In the toolset, you can create your own maps and modify the creature stats. A little late to post this, but thought Iwould.

@Admiralandrian actually, its pretty hard to play a wizard. They've got so few hit points, and you become the centre of all damage, and PING, you're dead. But I admit, it is fun having destruction.

@Meidoification They're really that powerful? I guess the charisma bonus to all saving throws has to count for something. But they have two sucky saving throws, and the most extreme alignment restriction amongst the core classes (which wouldn't matter as much in a video game as in P&P, but still, I like killing everyone in the city core). Plus they're too reliant on multiple stats. A bard or sorcerer with two levels in blackguard, though...

-69 in fortitude save? I'm pretty sure you changed something in order to insure instant death...

Then again, a funball (fortitude save of 1) is necessary failure, regardless of -69 of +69, so yeah, it is possible to kill pretty much any enemy without Death Magic immunity.

Of course it does ! I have both sp2 and sp3 on cd's but they are useless to me, because when the installation begins my hard disk doesnt appear on the list of HD devices - thats where the diskette is suppose to help but "thank god" i dont have one ...

If you choose a instant kill spell, and, give the dragon a -69 in the fortitud... its easy thing.

But his real fort must be above the 25 that it has to overcome.

Okey, can be failed, but just 1/400 times. Do you have 400 turns and spells of lvl 7 to be trying?.

hey man, the scenario is edited, not the prismatic dragon.

i REALLY don't know the why of that -69 on the save throw.... i did't gave him any save decrease or something like it.

i just wanted to show that this game is a piece of cake compared to the REAL D&D. In the REAL D&D, Prismatic Dragons wasn't meant to be killed. In fact, kill a pismatic dragon is near the impossible, task for a level 100 character. Anyway, I DIDNT EDITED THE DRAGON.

yeah, i'm having the feeling that the game is getting a little cheesy, 'cause some fights aren't fair for the monsters, due to my new weapons and stuff, so i'm thinking into switching to core rules. however, i still can't kill a drangon...

hey man......play in other mode than the hard core is REALLY unfair for the monsters, because u are imune to criticals.....

if u cant beat a dragon in the normal mode.... youll be kicked in the ass in the hard core....dragons do a lot of damage with critical atacks....
