  • @powerm500 to sto sam rekao da si smesan nije uredu s moje strane, svasta si postigao, ali ne treba da se hvalisas i da guras svuda to Strongman u svoje ime, nije da si poznat kao strongman.. iako si se natrpao da se slikas s par svetskih faca...

    pa vidi, ima okej momaka stvarno, i na audiciji si bio korektan, ali treba svi da obratite paznju na gramatiku tipa "vislje" sto ide na q.. mnogo, onda komentari koji tim je bolji i sta.. odnos prema takmicarima.. gluma neke superiornosti, to je greh..

    Nije on sebi dao nadimak Strongmen, vec ga tako znaju u Nisu. I kao Milana Zivotinju, Milana Jakog, i tako dalje. Drzavni i svetski prvak u PL, a u strongmen sportu je u jednom trenutku bio u top 10 u svetu, a dogurao bi i dalje da ga nije veoma teska povreda sprecila (paralizovan je bio). Imati rezultate kakve on sada ima u tim godinama i nakon te povrede je nadljudski i skoro nestvarno. Kao takav, zasluzuje svako postovanje i samopromocija po televiziji nikoga ne ugrozava.

  • Nice to see it brought down to chest and no elbow wraps. In the mid-1960s I did 365 at 40 degrees with no wraps and no roids and 405 with elbow wraps. keep training!

However, 90% are aimless criticisms which are plainly out of jelousy and mockery, and offer no constructive basis. My comment was addressing those ones. I guess we can say I am asking the world to improve on their motives in their criticisms.

    After rep 2 his form went to shit. You tear up more muscle on your negatives so you want to slowly lower the weight, hold and then press.

  • Your sacrificing technique for your ego. Saddly this does not work your chest as much as you would think. Its still descent but not impressive. My advice try to avoid injury and lift weight you can handle with out bouncing it off of your chest this will help in your chest develpment. Respect

  • i powerlift and that is not at all the case. In competetions you cannot get away with that. You have to pause on your bench, so why cheat?

  • @powerm500 you probably have way more experience than i do but armwood does have a point, i was taught to not bring the bar down so far on incline because it stresses your shoulder and rotator cuffs and it is possible to injure it, who knows haha i might have been taught wrong

  • lot of weight but 2 much bounching. You should try lowering the weight slowly and pushing up slowly. I bet if you did that you would stuggle to do more than 2 reps

  • I use pretty wide grip when I bench to eliminate shoulders and tri's, but when I'm done with the exercise my shoulders are on fire and I barely feel anything in my chest although I get a pump. Is there a way to eliminate setting my shoulders on fire? I don't have the same problem when I'm using dumbbells. Should I just stick to heavy dumbbells?

  • that was horible, great way to tear your shoulder ligaments and a classic example of ego over form. Slow it down, don't bounce at the bottom, use less weight!

  • well in that case maybe you have built up tendon strength in a particular way that enables you to tolerate that kind of peak tension but apart from the first few reps I'd hate novices to follow your lead on form. It could only mean injuries. Good strength but I've done ten straight on incline with 315 in a much more controlled fashion, more bodybuilding style. It just looks like your riding your luck with that form and at the bottom of the movement just before the return it made me cringe.

  • I m not trying to do in bodybuilding style. I m powerlifer and that is additional exercises for bench pres, I m not using incilne to buildup mu upper chests.

  • I understand that and understand that is why the focus is on the positive (upward motion) so much more than the negative (downward motion). Basically you are only really working the muscle on the positive as you almost drop the barbell on your chest and bounce to get the initial momentum. So if your not intending bodybuilding, and it sure ain't powerlifting (no pause at bottom)then its just ego my freind.
