This is EXACTLY the sort of figure that could us an update in the Masterpiece line. Is that ever going to happen? No.

However, I find that it's still pretty good; the only beef I have with it is the tiny wings, the limited posability (a given), the goofy looking head, and the blockiness.

Oh and yeah it's just God Ginrai. Super Ginrai is Super Optimus Prime, Optimus Prime on his own (and his partner) in Japan is just Ginrai, but anyway you get the idea. ^_^

Great review dude, I remember getting the toy when I was a kid. I've got the Toy'R'Us reissue now though. I hope Hasbro make an attachement to the classics figure to turn him into Super Optimus Prime, that'd be awesome.

I love this figure, but it is FUGLY!!

That´s why you need a T.V. show to make children buy it.

I think God Bomber is supposed to be an upgraded version of Roller.

Your review has gave me a reason to purchase this figure. Should arrive this coming week. As soon as I finish rewatching the G1 cartoon, I think I will go and buy the Madman's Masterforce and Victory series (skipping Headmasters as I already saw the bits that were important to me)

my first g1 transformer i got the u.s.a. re-issue version for my 13th birthday unfortunately i lost the two double barrel cannons and the two wings but other than that he's still complete

Powermaster Prime is awesome in his long truck mode. But the God bomber, besides the nice chrome chest, I find him quite silly. Would you recommend to get him if I already have G1 Powermaster Prime? I've seen him go on 130$ on ebay.

Anyway, great review mate. Always fun to watch your videos.

I bought the re-issue Powermaster Optimus Prime (same as this but with western packaging) from the U.S.A. a few months ago, sent to the U.K., brand new and boxed, and i paid less than $80. Get near that and i'd say it would be worth buying.

P.S. God Bomber is absolute wank - i hate him, imho :)

i was always led to believe that "apex armour" was the like code name of the mode of god bomber, when he attached himself to robot mode prime.

I've got the hasbro reissue of this and he's pretty great!

Tis a shame there is'nt a place to put the 3 HM jrs in godbomber, would have been nice :)

I display mine next to my Piranacon, oh...by the way, i've finally got myself the 3 autobot powermasters! My Masterforce collection's growing lol!
