My grandfather's wife has been gone for 23 years and he still pays respect to her and has never loved another since then. i want this too and i want it for my best friend. i'm not looking for a relationship, my bf has a guy who gets drunk all the time and is around her kids. she won't listen to me. i KNOW he's not right for her but i can't get through to her. she's going to get into something and not going to be able to get herself out of it and no one is going to be there to help her cuz she's pushing us away.

at one point in time i was loved like that...but now my daughters father is sleeping with other girls and pushes me away whenever i want to cuddle up to him....ive been with him for about 5 years now and everything is going downhill....he says its my fault but i dont know what to do anymore

I went through a VERY ROUGH divorce back in 03. I told her when we where married, all I wanted was a marraige like my parents......42 years strong now. She never kept that promise, and cheated twice. It was time for me to go. I still miss her dearly, but could not live the rest of my life with someone I no longer "loved like that"

My grandfather's wife has been gone for 23 years and he still pays respect to her and has never loved another since then. He has always told me when you marry you only do it once and love that women for as long as you live.

I sing this song at karaoke every once in a while. I personally think that I do this song some justice, but I've never received a standing ovation, or any negative comments about it, so the audience must've thought I did this song some justice when I sang it. It's just that beautiful!
