I remember having to go onto Ceefax at my gran's to write down the lyrics (cos I didn't have Teletext at home) for some Bucky o'Hare day on CBBC. Thank goodness I missed it that day (even though I was really looking forward to it at that time)!

I'm guessing it was one of the last airings of the rather unmemorable CBBC theme as they introduced the 2 Brave theme to coincide with the relaunch of BFT and the arrival of Toby Anstis.
I personally quite liked this particular version of the CBBC theme tune for some reason- although the replacement was better. I also personally think that the ident is visually the best CBBC have ever had- 18 years on and it still looks good. I also think that the stylised "Children's" logo would have lasted well past 1997 if the BBC rebrand didn't force everything to use the same bland Gill Sans font for their logos.
