  • i trained with papa & george for only 1 week in yangshou, those guys are so awesome. especially papa qi gong and stick work!

  • Heading to Gao Family tomorrow. Been training with Sifu Gao since 1996 here in OZ. then to China in '98. Trained withMaster and both George and Peter every couple of years since then. Truely amazing family forms. Peter has some great Qi Gong forms also that I have not seen him demostrate for a number of years now. George is still George, full of life. I'll post up some video when I get back

  • Hi, lucky you! I was fortunate enough to spend a few days with Papa and George back in 2005 which is when the video was filmed. I live in Macau now so hope to head up there again sometime.

  • Hi Trevorz, Just walked in from trip to the Gaos.

    Papa is still well though slowing just a little bit but get him started and he is hard to turn off. Did some training with him. George in Naning at this time. Will get some stuff up on the site soon.

  • Thanks for posting this.  I spent some time learning Tai Chi 1 which i have on dvd but have had problems remembering Qi Gong.. problem now solved.. Thank you.

    i spent some time doing Bu Di Zhen Qi Gong fu on Yangshuo. i have lots on film but this video was the one i rely wonted.

  • great to see papa's qi gong again i'd forgotten it all. Do es anyone have any videos of george doing his forms?

    I agree with you 100% dont let those people try to put your down and good movie can you explain what kind of style it is?

  • Gao shifu's father learnt at the Shaolin temple so i imagine the qi gong exercises are from that line.

    I learnt 'Hong quan' and 'Nan quan' from Gao shifu, old Shaolin forms I believe....

    when i get off my lazy bum I will upload somemore, thanks for your comments.
