I lost my chow about 2 months ago and it still hurts. I just had a dream about her and woke up and thought I'd see some chow videos. I am sorry for your loss.

oh man,its so hard to watch this video..i feel really sorry for your loss..i just couldnt imagine not to wake up every morning and see my chubby chow looking at me,wanting to lick me all play with me all day long..i maybe sound like a sissy put this video is very emotional..sometimes,dogs can be better companions than people..

I know you still miss your Boy. We just lost our smooth coat, Chow Chow, Gracee and I found myself drawn to make a video for her and our Phoenix (a stray that we adopted) that we lost back a while ago. He too is still missed dearly.

is it really hard having a dog that was close to you die, even ages after the death? The only animals ive ever owned that have died is a hampter + 2 cats, dad said that with a dog, if i really really want one, one day taht dogs going to pass away and it's more painful then any cat or hampter. I cant ever imagine my 2 chow pups gettin old and passing away. I never took any pics of my old cat gizmo, i feel so stupid. even if you cant bare to look at the pics, atleast u have summin to look back on.

I wanted to thank you for your video. Although its been about a year since we lost Nube it feels like yesterday. He looked just like yours. So much so they could have been twins.

Wow...you had a great dog, we have had two chows in the past, when I was younger, they were so nice, now we have a little chow about 2 yrs old now, shes beautiful, you have made a great tribute to your beloved dog

Thanks for the video. I lost my Allie on March 16th. She was 14 and died of cancer. I still think about her everyday. Your chow chow was beautiful.

Amazing that it can hurt so much. I lost my Winston just before his 15th birthday in April 04 and my Brandy at nearly 16 in April of 05. It hurts as much today as it did back then. I share your pain and wish you the best. I wish I could do what you've done but I can barely open the photos of them without melting down. Someday I will, but not today.

"Her Royal Highness, The Duchess" was my baby. There is a lot to be said for ChowChows. She left me two days after Christmas, six years ago and I have yet to get over her. Your video just ... it brought back the joy and the pain. Thank you so much. I have now Duchess and December, white chows, brother and sister, a gift from my baby brother and love them more than life. Thank God for you. Bless you and "The Lion King". Thank you, again.

I whole heartedly agree. My soul mate, Brandy, a female Cream Chow died in my arms an 01/15/08. she was 10. I stumbled upon her when she was 8 weeks old and I needed a friend while going through a very traumatic time in my life.Once you own a chow, no dog will ever compare

Beautifully video, the music and your dog are so beautiful and I'm terribly sorry for your loss. I have a chow chow of my own, her name's Ñata, and she's currenly 11, is showing signs of age and I know every day I have with her is a blessing from God I don't know if I'll be able to bear to see her go. This makes me cry...a lovely tribute to the one you love.

As tears stream down my face and a huge lump in my throat I feel the pain you have gone thru. My 11 year old red chow, Cayenne, is showing signs of age and I know every day I have with her is a blessing from God. Your love for your beautiful friend shows through and through your message. I have a 3yr Old Chow-Border Collie Cross.."Kodi" Has All of the Chow features, along with the attitude.. but the Brains of his B.Collie Father! (friends were away and forgot her in the B'yard.. neighbours B. Collie jumped the fence..and her! Not many people or vermin go into 'His Yard' either! Thanks you all SO much for your heartfelt words-- chows are such wonderful friends and once you have loved a chow, it's so difficult to be without one. I am so happy to hear from others who love this unique and devoted breed. Some people do not like chows and many times they are misunderstood. Too often, chows end up abandoned or in shelters. If you love chows, PLEASE rescue one who needs you!

What a loving tribute! We lost our sweet female Sheena , a red chow last year. You are lucky your baby lived to be so old. Our girl died at age seven from Cancer. We were heartbroken , but have since gotten a black boy chow mix.

This is a wonderful tribute to Stimpy and it reduced me to tears. I am so sorry for your loss, but at least Stimpy was loved and cared for.

We have a 8 year old chow called Millie, who is my first dog. I cant bear the thought of her crossing the bridge. When she does go, at least she will have been loved.
