my looovely looovely poodle died last year. i got him when i was 6, and had him for 14 years.

14 years of love and friendship! and he had a severe skin dicease so we had to put him to sleep.... :'( love him so much!!

Wow, they really are cute. I use to have a golden lab, but we had to sell her because my brother was allergic to the fur, so we have to get a hypoallergenic dog. But I do love labs so much, I felt kinda bad for Sadie because she kept watching you give it to other dogs, but goodness you gave some to her:)

We found a stray poodle the other week. Can you believe that?! As adorable and loveable as she is, the owners (couldn't locate them) hardly fed her! She was a wall of mats in dire need of food. It wasn't until we took her to the vet (after getting her groomed) that he confirmed she was a 12-14 month miniature poodle. I love her so much and it angers me that her previous owners neglected her! I'm not even an animal enthusiast but I loved her when we found her :')

Thanks~ Yes, Sadie, the lab will be 10 years old soon, so she is calm, a really mommy to the other ones. The schnauzer and one of the toy poodles belongs to my inlaw's (We were baby sitting!)

Since you have a whole poodle family maybe you could answer my question. Do dogs know who their parents and siblings are or are they just another dog to them when they get older? I have been wondering about that lately.

They just become part of the pack, I don't think they think "That is my mommy" etc, but I pretend they do...("Timber! Be nice to your son!" when they they are growling over their kibbles or bones.

Yes, I got a good pair of clippers. It is such an ordeal to do, I put it off becuase it is an all day thing, but I am so glad when it gets done. It would be expensive to take them all out.

heheh. You made me laugh. Timber is such the alpha dog but SUCH a ham, he really knows how to push my buttons to get what he wants. Believe me he gets more than his share, LOL. He takes the other dogs raw hide chips, just because,. HE will have 3 under his paw while chewing on one. Silly boy, hehe.

That's funny, that's how my toy Rudy acts when there's food around - trying to jump in my lap and dancing around. If we're eating on the couch, he jumps on the back of it and hovers right in our face. Funny dogs. I also had schnauzers growing up, so this was like a double whammy video for me. :)
