Some is true but some staff here its just over exaggreting, because i live in Kakukma Three Multicuture Community. Yes the condition was bad but not that people will sleep without a roof on top. At moment am studying Law and politic as well as psychologist hoping to work with UN to help particularly refugees in kakuma Refugee camp. Be strong, don't loose hope i have been there too but now am in Australia its party of life nothing good comes easy.
I saw ur documentery film . It has exaggerated about ur home roof. Because i am stil in kakuma we has shelter c ommunity service . It has weak side of your community . I am oromo by nationalty of ethiopian .
I was in Kakuma, it is always Hot, and the day it rains, you have to strong with Laaga (Kakuma Guyz you know what i mean) and mad, All you talk about is true because i know that place ug comm, kak1. i will raise my hands with a project to help younger ones with some what i can(clothers, books and others.)
Kakuma was my home. but not easy to live in..............
If it ain't acting, then it really hurts my heart. From her linguistic proficiency, it is clear she had a very good education. Secondly, her accent isn't Ugandan at all.. so it leaves me confused
no no no it rains alot more than 3 times. i lived in kakuma for about 14 years, so i know what im talkin' about. Kakuma rain is crazy-a heavy down pour that rains down like no body's business. I hav neva seen a rain like that during ma 2 year stay in nairobi, kenya and 3 years stay in seattle, washington. In kakuma it mostly rains late march thru june. During this time it rains heavily, shattering peoples houses. At times the rivers Tarach and the other one flood the camp.
That was a great video.Your English is super good.Have you finished highschool? You know there are a lot of people who can help you here in USA.Write to bigbunduki@yahoo.com
