Thanks!!! I was a bit confused because of the fact that there are planes from LIRP to KJFK. We have to admit that LIRP is not that big, so... But it's very good dat Delta airlines does. I'm a bit jealous....

hehe I hear ya! I've been going to the USA for the past 14 years and everytime they would fly me out of somewhere like Rome or Paris! But from last year Delta has finally decided to make a direct flight Pisa - New York and now everything is so much easier :)

By the way, the Pisa airport is small when it comes to facilities etc.. but the runway is A-class because it's a military airport aswell! That runway can handle 767, 777 and 747 planes with no problem! Ciao :)

Yeah!! That's true. But if you think of European flights to the USA departure citys, I think of Brussels, Rome, London, Paris, ...

But I know that it's military, because the first thing I said while we were slowing down on the rwy by landing was that I saw lots of C130's.
