I love this movie since I was a little girl, and as a lot of you I used to imagine that I found a friend and we both started to look for a treasure. I finally found this movie on DVD. Was sooooo excited. I watched this all the time when I was a kid, and I had it on vhs. LOVE THIS MOVIE!

This was filmed in my hometown and I remember watching them film the scene where Christina Ricci is biking down the street and stops to see Anna fighting with some kid and then runs off. I also was obsessed with sitting in the same spot that Christina sat when she was waiting for Anna to pick her up. It was in front of my elementary school.

i used to watch this movie all the time. and if i still owwned it i prolly would still watch it all the time. its a classic. i wished they would have made a 2nd part to this movie. it never gets old. anna and christina were a great match for these characters.

Im sorry but im just not a big fan of Anna i dont think she can act. Christina can but she can't. My girl 1 & 2 were good but she just didn't really get me to say "G, what a great actress" :/

@bidiok She's kept a pretty low profile since her days as a "child star". (I think she went back to school?) I believe she got involved in the New York theatre scene at the time. A few years ago, she re-emerged in bit parts on TV and indie movies. In the last year or so, she had roles in 'Cupid' (now cancelled) and she filmed a pilot called 'Quinn-tuplet's that wasn't picked up for next year. :( However, she was a major character in 2009's "In The Loop", a satirical film about British politics.

When I first saw this I rented it at the video store. I loved it so much I bought it a few days after. Nowadays VHS's are not popular anymore yet I keep my copy in a safe place. I don't have the heart to give it away, it's too much of a classic to me!!

I wont lie, when i was little my dad found this movie in a dumpster and It was my very very favorite Movie, and i Actually wore it out. Now I can't find another copy anywhere.
