when i edit mine they're so messy! Theres tons of tracks and different colors every but sometimes they just come out that way. as along as it sounds good
now maybe someone can help me....when i record it only records and hear the left side it is on mono. I am using an st55 condersor mic, M-audio fastrack and acid pro 7......any suggestions
by any chance are you using a M audio box?? i found that there are options in the m audio preferences.......set your recording to one shot. .... then go into the acid pro program and set the one shot recordings.... that should fix the delay....but you must be carefull cause this might add pops and "noises" in the recordings because the computer must render it quicker......
i have a problem,, whenever i record myself, the playback is always delayed, therefore sounds like i'm off tempo by a LOTT. Im really new to thiss and please help me solve this problem :( thank you!
Can this be done with Midi tracks?...im having trouble finding how to do this when you need to finish off a song using virtual instruments ,when i go back in time the previous work gets erased..anyone know how?
I have a problem. I use a Presonus Firewire. I transfer music from my MPC 2000xl sampler to ACID pro 7.Then I set my settings to add vocals on my track. Everything is recording perfectly, but i can't hear my instrumental when im recording my track, even though my settings are set that there is rear playback. I also use a cheap cable that goes through my PC (Blue circle) to the AUX in my speakers. I got it to work once and i was able to record my track since then i cant get the setting rigthHELP
i have a delay on mine too.......but how isnt my pc soundcard not fast enough.....i just brought this on xmas...so i gotta ask them to download a perticular soundcard?
@drina614 There are special sound cards made for recording and playing back audio. These are usually sold in musical instrument stores and not in computer hardware stores. Allthough acid pro accepts recording from all sound cards. Best results come if you use a sound card that has asio drivers and thus no latency. You will need an external sound card. An audio interface. Sounds cards sold with computer or integrated on the mainborad of your computer are simply not good enough for recording
its called latency, your computer isnt fast enough to catch the vocals, you need a better sound card, you can pick up an external sound card if you wanna go the cheap route
when i record a vocal, it doesnt go with the beat is like theres a delay between them and i dont know how to fix this, all i do is zoom in to it then drag the vocal to fit along with the beat, and that alot of work on 1 project anyway u can help?
When I record a vocal track, I arm a track for record the vocals, and just play a regular track as the instrumental playback, but the armed recording track captures my voice sound plus the instrumental playback also.
I want co capture just my voice and being able to play the instrumental track.
@kklmjk Using headphones helps solve this issue. With headphones you can hear the instrumental track in your ears and sing along, and the mic only records your voice since it cannot hear the audio in the headphones. If you are using direct monitoring or monitoring in acid pro you will also be able to hear yourself sing in the headphones.

@kklmjk Let t capture all the tracks..but when your done, put the final track or the one with vocals on 'solo'..and save it like that..give it a shot
