what a fine voice mario lanza had ,he put his heart and soul into everything he sung,his music will never die as long as we are here to remember,his music was passed on to me through my mum but sadly the next generation dont seem to want to listen to this music, they call us old fashioned..what a shame they dont know what their missing. thanks for posting...

Yes this is the first recording and very fine. I prefer rhis from 1953 over the 1959 version. All through the film he sounded like this and even with Purdom doing a good acting job it was the Lanza voice that sold the film.

@MegaMusiclover1234 Ok, vous comme moi sommes des admirateurs de cette voix unique. Pourquoi, lors du 50 ème anniversaire de sa disparition aucun producteur n'a envisagé de faire un film sur sa voix et sa carrière hélas,trop courte.
