I completely agree this is a great song. I think the reason why everybody agrees that its a great song is because at some point they have felt like this in their relationship.
Its like a dream that wont go away, you cant let go because of the past.

Thomas Wade fans should be happy to know that he is alive and well and still able to wow a crowd. I have seen Tom along with his brother Terry and Colin Amey performing as Swift Kick twice this year and they are awesome as ever!!! Be on the lookout for these boys cause your in for a real treat. Tom is still performing his hit songs and he sounds great!!! Colin has some his of his own and terry is a great singer too! what more could you ask for. I look forward to seeing Swift Kick again soon
I saw Thomas in Saint John NB. with Jammie Warren and Shirley myers about 10 years ago, He nailed this song bang on and had many tears in peoples eyes. I believe it was one of his last tours.

This is was the hardest song to find for the longest time. Everytime i hear this song i think of my late father. This was the last song i remember him listening to. This song brings back great memories of my father. I love you dad. May you rest in peace :)
I remember when we were in the studio and filming the "He's getting serious" video in Toronto, and it was announced that this one, "Lying here with you" went #1 in the country!!! Blew us all away...
