  • Every time the announcer says "absolutely superb" you have to chug a beer.

  • I think it would be absolutely superb if the announcer would shut the fuck up.

  • damn! that Horten flying wing is beautiful

  • the horten is brilliant!!!!!!!

  • Does it use split flaps for yawing stability? I didn't think that it did?

  • That's a true flying wing right there no stupid vertical stabilizers and no stalling, true engineering the Horton's knew their shit

  • Enoying dude with the mic

  • Wow. That Ho 229 model was eerie as all hell when it first lifted and banked. Seeing a full sized one fly would have to be a real eye opener. Very cool.

  • NIce video, thanks for sharing

  • 3:25 SWASTICA 卐

  • The Luftwaffe should have built and fly these planes just to say "HAW HAW, OUR PLANES ARE COOLER THAN YOURS!"

  • Just one little thing on the Concorde. On the original you can not droop the nose unless the gear is down. It is in fact pointless to droop the nose unless you are in landing configuration. It is supposed to improve the view out front when the angle of attack is hi, not to look funny in level flight.

  • incredible!

  • I wish Branson would buy a real Concorde & put it back into the air!

  • You may not know the answer to this, but where do you get the plans and the materials to build the Ho229 RC model?

  • BEAUTIFUL JET AND GREAT VIDEO !! NOW IF WE COULD JUST GET A SOCK FOR THE ANNOUNCER AYE ???

  • retared announcer!!! STFU

  • I think Horten 229 was and still is the most beatiful fighter ever

  • The Horten doesn`t seem to need any landing gear. It could probably just cruise on in without any problems.

  • The announcer needs a big cup of "shut the fup up"

  • entirely agree with the on camera comment at 19 seconds! Cameraman?

  • The ME262 is gorgeous! What a graceful plane.

  • Announcer destroyed this video

  • The Horten 229 was flown in 1945 outmaneuvered a ME-262 in a mock dogfight and was years ahead of anything that was in the sky at the time. If you saw that in the skies during the 40's you probably thought you saw something out of this world

  • Any videos on YT about that half scale concorde model?

  • what? 1946 germany? what a dumbass !

  • @HubertWolfen it was a top secret project by the nazis during world war two. you are the dumbass. the germans were doing many crazy things during the war.

  • @panzerking1218 ww2 ended in 1945, DUMBASS.

  • What's with Virgin Air???? Air France is the only Concord

  • @loh1110 and British airways too

means the project between UK and France thats the reason it´s called Concord

    regards

  • @MarcoTUV whatever!

  • It is wonderful.

  • th 229s engine ports are to big and the front wheel is to small

  • the commentator needs a punch in the face

  • Ya, the announcer was annoying and he doesn't know much about history. He stated that the Germans built it in 1945 and the Americans copied it in 2000. Hate to pop this guy's bubble but Jack Northop had flying prototypes in the U.S. by the 1930,s. I guess he never heard of the N-1M, YB-39, YB-49 nor the YRB-49!

  • well spotted that man ! lol , ill correct the title , many thanks - pete .

  • fuck that guy talking is an idiot, all he needs to say is 1 thing what the plane is doing nothing else, like 'low pass'

  • Its funny to see brits flying a german model.

  • Those are beautiful

  • why is that the last flight for the flying wing???

  • Was the announcer recoring with a potato?!!!??!

  • @VaporIntensity He's definitely in love with the sound of his own voice. Actually, he kind of sounds like John Cleese

  • Hey, commentator, if you read this, CHANGE YOUR JOB. Youy've put me on Prozac.

  • absolutley superb!!!!!

  • why does'nt that guy just shut the fuck up!!

  • The cameraman is right - that announcer should be carted of to a cricket match,or something similar where he can´t do any damage! Otherwise great!

  • I love that 262, but watching the 229 do its thing... was simply!!... incredible!!!

  • It always amazes me how RC folks can build planes like the flying wing, which flyies so stably, on a shoestring budget, and it takes the US Military billions of dollars to come up with basically the same aircraft.

  • Jack Northrop designed his own flying wing in 1929. Later after WWII he designed and built the YB-49, and after he retired his company used his data to help design and build the B-2. So the Americans did not "copy" the Horton Bros, although Northrop might have picked up a few pointers from them.

  • @tbobborap1 Thanx so much for the upload. GREAT vid of some GREAT planes.

  • AHHH!! functional nose drop for the landing, too!?!? SICK SICK SICK

  • If you slowed down this vid (1X~2X) and subb'ed the audio, you couldn't tell the difference between THIS or the REAL thing...crazy ridiculous model. I would sell my _______ for one.

  • 4 jet motors, multi channel radio, retract gear ans even a drop nose. I will buy a house in the Philpippines first.

  • Horten 229 was absolutely marvelous!

  • The concord nose was amazing!

  • Awesome landing gear retraction on the Horten

  • horten sucks! doesn't look like the real one!

  • I have been to loads of these events...why do this freak have to be the commentator...he needs to take up knitting and hand the mike over...I bet his nickname is thrush..annoying c&%t

  • 0:35 He say's Richard Branston! What a knobhead.

  • @ISRAEL10F

Accept Christ as the Messiah. It's not conversion, you have just found your Messiah. That is all.

  • Death to the Muslims and Christians .. Long live Israel a Jewish state

  • @ISRAEL10F Death to Jews and israel! DEATH TO YOU

  • 1945 - copied by the americans in 2000 :D

  • 2 People are jealous of Ho229, Concorde and ME262 models :P

  • I love that Horton wing

  • 3:41 german made it american copy :)

  • @grafispek The Horten HO229 was build by the brothers Horten in 1944 and copied by the Americans.

  • im afraid i dont have any information on these models , i think they are scratch built

    by their owners ,

  • what is the name of company that produces these prototypes and if they are on sale. you can give me some information thanks

  • ...just the soundtrack is enough (too much?) on its own !

  • yeah ive seen ben dover , wonder how old he is now and wether hes still got a tight perm , lol

  • i think its that porn bloke BEN DOVER doing the com he keeps saying STUNNING i,v seen one (ages ago ) and he kept saying the birds tits were STUNNING there tits for gods sake.....and before i get a nasty comment back all married men have seen bend over so don,t lie :)

  • Horton and 262 are gorgeous.

  • That ME 262 looks kinda like the Kikka with the wings.

  • Holy shiiiiit! I want thoses planes and the same thing the cameraman wants to...

  • she does look nice , there are another two vids of her on my channel if youre interested

  • Tha ME 262 is just amazing

  • Commentry & background music spolis this film..

  • Commentator in a pickle, Richard Branston???

  • Youtube

Horten Ho IX Wunderwaffe "Wonder Weapon"

  • The comentator is right.

Us units had order to search for and bring it to the US.

You can read that in almost every history book or just watch this...

  • this bird is not a ME 262. It is a horton 229

  • @tanven There is a ME 262 in there did u even watch?

  • where did yo get this

  • nice vid but the announcer is a tottle twat thanks for posting

  • Amazing accomplishment in build and flying. That would be a bitch on many levels for the RC pilot.

    OutSTANDING Job!

  • Horten, the stealth of the fourties.

  • @fgalaxy91 yeah we know, you keep saying on all flying wing videos, who gives a toss. i think your stuck in the fourties and properly german and feel like youve been robbed of something

  • the comentator should do his reserch did it fly at mach 2 does any body know? what a wanker he is so a dick COPPIED BY THE USA IN 2000 fucking hell i,m a brit and thats not true

  • @xxkil Even if the US took the design, it was way earlier than 2000, the first time seen in public that I am aware of was my sons birthday in 1985. Stealth fighters (and some unknown) that are seen today are or were in service for many years before that. I would take a guess and say the B-2spirit was probably finalized in the early seventies, with design leading back several years. The public release notes on this aircraft are probably wrong anyway, so who knows how long they were working on it.

  • @gpgab971 what about the skunk works and that old guy (sorry cant remember his name) who tried to do the wing in the 50,s alls i,m saying is this commentator is a tit and knows fuck all they prob bunged him £50 quid and said do your best mate

  • @xxkil Probably right on that one, they had a grade schooler holding up que cards for him or something...

  • the comentator should do his reserch did it fly at mach 2 does any body know? what a wanker

  • The announcer during this video voices his ignorance during the Horton wing demonstration by saying the US copied this technology in 2000. He clearly ignores our own flying wing bomber developed late in WWII. The Germans weren't the only ones developing the technology, and the company that developed the B2 is the same company the made the flying wing bomber during the war. Can we please check our facts before we firmly seat our heads up our backsides?

  • The announcer is an absolute twit. What a perfect way to ruin an otherwise outstanding video.

  • Thanks for the upload! I just wanted to see the ho226!

  • THE ANNOUNCER DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT.

  • its not HORTEN !?

  • 0:18 hahah.what a comment from the cameraman

  • so this is kinda a stupid question. but how does the plane stay "stable" without the vertical stabilizer? it seems lyk the it would just spin out of control

  • @8justin88the on real flying wings the elevons on the end of the wings are split in half horizontally , so when the plane turns to the right for example the rigth elevon opens up like a clam shell , one half goes up the other half goes down causing drag and thus turning the plane to the right , in level flight i think a combination of both elevons opening and closing helps to control level flight , im not sure if this is how it works on the model , if im wrong someone will no doubt correct me !

  • @tbobborap1 that makes a lot more sense. cause i know if a real or r/c planes rudder breaks off the back end just kinda drifts.. and then BOOM! CRASH

  • @tbobborap1 You are correct, you could technically call them dragavatorailerons! Just thinking out loud!

  • @tbobborap1

No, no. You're quite correct. Check out Dave Powers' X-36. He explains the concept just like you do.

  • @tbobborap1 I love how the snooty announcer declares that the Horton wing was copied by the Americans in 2000. I guess he never heard of Jack Northrop.

  • @tbobborap1 try playing a simulator il-2, it has the best physics. i can say that it is really a bit unstable. that's why 1 of real Go229 crashed.

  • @tbobborap1 that's one way to keep stable. another is to use that center taper or ad winglets to the tips of the wings.

  • @8justin88 same way birds do!

  • @8justin88 Don't see vertical stabs on birds do ya? Same thing!

  • @8justin88

Actually, the Horton stayed stable because the airfoil and the degree of sweep on the wings. The swept back wings automatically give you more stability than a rectangular one. I know how to balance them but it takes a lot of explaining :P

  • i dont know if she's scale with authentic wing section or stand off scale with an easier flying wing section .

  • flight is surprisingly stable! Is this a scale model with historic airfoil etc? Very impressive ...

  • are they real rc gas turbines or ducted fans? ive seen ducted fans tht look like gas turbines tht look and sound exactly like them

  • @MrJp990 gas turbine jet,jet fuel

  • @inagod ok thanks anyways...

  • @MrJp990 they dont

  • @mzfckr993 yea.. SOME dont

  • Thanks for uploading. A valuable contribution!

I as well never saw a Horten like that as an RC model

  • i like RC video so much

  • That is so cool. I like it.

  • Nice video! really enjoyed it. The Concorde was outstanding (are there any other videos of it?), and the 'Flying Wing' was interesting to see. Loved the announcer (the British are sooo cool!). Enjoyed this post, thanks for sharing....

  • Nice video. I've added it to our radio control forum and you're welcome to post your videos for free. radiocontrolpower . com

  • That announcer is freaking annoying. AWESOME plane though!

  • That announcer is freaking annoying

  • @Saxreign4 Absolutely - love that comment by the video guy or someone nearby just after the Concorde takes off. I have heard this guy several times and he really is an annoying plonker. He should shut up and just chip in with interesting facts. He was the dick head commentating when Gordon Nicols crashed that huge B-52 - Gordon said privately that he was so distracted and pissed off with commentator it effected his judgement and was instrumental in his incorrect inputs which caused the crash.

  • @Saxreign4, I would imagine that he still lives with his mum.

  • @Saxreign4 Verbal masterbation.

  • Is that what i think it is? Lol A actual jet propelled Horten type Gotha 229?Lol I've been waiting to see one of these.Lol I'd like to see the Strumschwable Treibelflugen...Lol

  • Cool wing plane

  • I've never seen a RC-Horton Jet. thanks for uploading!

  • @chochmah thats ok - its an awesome looking model , the pilot said it was a bitch to fly, wonder what the real one flew like , havent seen her on the circuit since this was filmed - shame, unusual model .

  • @tbobborap1 Well being that one of the few original Horten flying wings made was crashed by the test pilot I would guess not too well. I'm sure given more time they would have worked its kinks out though.
