no....there is NO hope for Shenmue 3 sadly.......even if there was hope i doubt Yu Suzuki would have a solid hand in it so it wouldnt be the same anyway so accept it and say goodbye......Never again in the future will games like this be produced.....Imaginative creativity is now replaced with pathetic hasty $ mongering....I love u Dreamcast...always have...always will......FUCK I MISS THIS GAME......

@Ionewolf48 You're right. The Dreamcast had a ton of ground-breaking games like Jet Set Radio and Shenmue, but they failed....or more likely WE GAMERS failed the Dreamcast.

@Rusty293able no and to be honest it dosent look like it ever will be. Sega havent said officially its over, but they do say there are no plans to make a 3rd. Sad stuff :(

@Rusty293able It does suck your right. There isnt enough people out there who would buy it. Sega would make the game at a loss. At the end of it all its just down to buisness. Why would they make a game knowing they wouldnt make any money from it. Sega is now just making games so there is still a glimmer of hope I guess.

@bulletshotfromgun The tune is one of the daily background music tracks that are played while you wander through Yokosuka. If you play Shenmue a lot you will be quite familiar with that track.

Shenmue 3 is to SEGA as is Half Life 2: Episode 3 is to Valve.

A game so awesome and so epic - we just don't know when (or if) it'll come out.

wierd how i never seem to have forgotten this game. it always stood out to me. and i have played some awesome games. dont know what it was about this game but it had some nice idea. like the fork lift truck job. etc. and investigating. the work place. was cool

So I heard from this tutor who I was talking to 2 at school about this game, and he mentioned that the creator, Yu Suzuki wanted to make a Shenmue 3, 4, and 5. That would be hella coo, if it really is going to happen.
