I think their album recordings just don't match up to their live sound at all... dunno if it has been made to sound lo-fi on purpose but their album sounds a bit weak to be honest. Still love them though... hope their new E.P. will be better mastered.

I've heard enough of their songs to have a valid opinion and seen them live (they seem to hog all the good support slots) over the years. I was never a big fan in the first place but I really don't like the progression they've taken with this song - lowest common denominator pop rock with just a hint of Oxford pretentiousness, each to their own I guess. I grow tired of people fawning over mediocrity in the UK 'scene'.
