  • @ " The 2008 Shimano Stella. Sorry, in Japanese only."

go japan and get 10000 sw.

  • nice

  • is this reel to big and clunky? for the big fish they have in this video?..... or is it a good rod for the canal and occasional ocean fishing for sailfish? or does it go both ways and you cant go wrong? please respond i need a good spinner rod!

  • @snakeboy553 I don't know. I never touched one but I would buy it if I had the money. I think they come in all sizes and people describe them as the finest reels in the world

  • @snakeboy553 yes it would be good but if you want to get a great real for a LOT less money check out the penn battle the sizes 7000and 8000 will be able to bring in any sailfish out there and is a very smooth strong good looking and hase one of the smoothest drag systems out there but yes this is also a great real my opinion not worth the extra money over the battle:) hope this helps

  • i didnt understand 1 word the guy was saying

  • Shimano, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Sony, Nintendo, ...Damn ...Japs make sum good reliable stuff

  • whats the gear ratio on these?

  • LOL my frends dad walks into a tackle shop and ask the counter i want the best reel in the store! and he got a stella for $1000 LOL

  • @jetmea He got riped off.lol i got 1 for 750 including the butterfly rod i wanted and spooled

  • Great reel no doubt but man you really pay for it. And the 84 yen per dollar exchange rate ain't helpin' either.

  • my dream reel

  • no one can beat Paladin Gears!!!!

  • @xBlAcKX0XMaGiCx What are paladin gears? I know it's a very advanced gearing but can't find enough information on this reel.

  • @powermugu Paladin means: In the past, gear durability was sacrificed for gear smoothness, or smoothness sacrificed for durability. This is because the harder the gear material, the stronger the durability, but generally the rougher or noisier the drivetrain becomes. After testing many different materials for both the drive gear and the pinion gear, from zinc to brass, to stainless steel to different alloys of aluminum, the Paladin System means cold-forged, unbelievable molecular density.

  • @powermugu Simply put, Paladin Gear is what Shimano name their high end gearing system, for along time manufactures found it hard to mix durability with smoothness... Eg a VERY smooth reel would have poor gearing, where as super strong gearing that was pretty much unbreakable would feel rough... Paladin Gear is the mix Shimano has created for smoothness and durability... Hence why the Paladin gears shit all of the Saltigas

  • the japs got some screwed up looking fish

  • it's a great reel, but have you seen the price tag?!

  • good reel......

  • a question

a spinning rell how much ball bearings could have ??

    one -10 or some?

  • @milotist I think 7-8 at most.

  • if i had 1000usd to spare id definatly pick one up but till then ill stick with sargus its 1/10th the quality and is all metal

  • I love my FA!

  • Hell-of-the-fishing boat! )))

  • Great reel but I like conventionals

  • problème de galet

  • at 800 dollars i would be afraid to use it

  • Where do I get one of those fucking fantastic hats?

  • Shimano rules....check the Stella 8000, 10000, the Trevalas, the Butterflys jigs and other Shimano gears in various videos on my channel. Enjoy.

  • whats up with these Japs wearing gloves...LOL...kind of funny if you come from Florida the fishing capital of the world !!

  • It looks pretty cool to me!

  • yeah i agree

  • GT かっこいいい

  • awesome reel!! will get 1!!

  • what short rods are those?

  • Stella FA was great, maybe the best reel ever,I don't try SW yet.

    Marko,Serbia

  • @MarkoTimokRiver

can you tell me what lb line to use for salt water fishing for this kind of reel?

  • Comment removed

  • depends on what your going for

I mean you wouldnt want to be using a 10 pound test trying to get cudas, but you would use it to get small calicos and their both saltwater

  • @nancyweeal 20,30,40,50lb braid. depends on the fish.

  • alsome reel

  • cabo or stella?

  • stella, twin power...

  • See the japanese may have reinvented jigging but there gear is not strong enough.i still use my big Alvey reel and it gets the job done for 200 plus pound tuna.

  • hahahaha alveyyyyy

  • whats so funny...there great reels..i dont need to spend 750 bucks on a stella, have u ever used a 650 alvey reel? its a powerful reel. yeah i guess not. i dont think u know what your laughing at.

  • This is a fine crafted equipment with great mechanism in it... very good... but it cost a fortune as well...

  • precision at work ! can`t beat shimano in spinning !

  • @derleineangler You cant beat Shimano at all,, its the best gear there is :)

  • @wigitinnz in flyfishing i prefer loop tackle.....

  • what a tanky fisher!

  • mate not everything in the world is based around the english vocabulary!!!1

  • ade sape2 yang nk jual shimano stella 10 hinggit cakap ngan aku. hui3best

  • It`s great to see all this, but it would be much better if there was an English language version.
