Hi Ali how are you, I am building my new skywalker and I am planning to use a 5000ma 4S battery, do you think I should use a different battery for me fpv system or this battery could power the whole thing. what difference will it make, do i get a better picture? second how can you tell what version is the air plane? that would be all, thanks for your help. Bellal.
i cant see any of your videos for some reason the screens are all green. there is sounds but no video???????? why do you do this if you want people to see these????
@TheAirplaneman1 LOL Man, millions of people are watching my videos. its not my videos. its your Flash Player or computer has troubles. check your pc and or upgrade your flash plugins. why the hell in this world do you think I will upload only green color with audio and still get lots of people commenting telling me how much they liked my videos?
@TheAirplaneman1 lol why the hell would he want to upload a blank or green screen, ive watched his videos lots of times a the only thing ive found that is green is my apple lol check your video card or download latest flashplayer :-) keep up the good work alishanmoa ps ive just ordered my skywalker cant wait to get it,i will also be converting it with landing gear :-)
Just found this vid after searching for how to fpv etc, thankyou, great help. Getting a better understanding now. Thinking a skywalker would be better rhan my easystar now as theres more room for the bits and bobs
I decided to get a Skywalker for my first FPV airplane and I used your name for the discount. Every little bit helps, and I appreciate your videos. Thanks brother!
Hi Alishanmao. Just wanna say thanks for everything you do here! I've learned a lot from you and now I'm gonna upgrade from my easystar to the bigger skywalker!
Hey I'm a complete noob to rc flying and fpv. I'm thinking of getting started. I have been looking at 3 planes as my first plane, the Easy Star, the Twin Star 2 and the Skywalker. My friend who is into FPV for a while said that he would not recommend the skywalker as a first plane, because it wont survive crashes as well and that I should learn on an easier to handle and more durable Easy Star? What do you think?
@lordoftheflings Mate i have never flown EasyStar but for sure your friend is wrong. Skywalker is amazingly stable plane and the way it can take great payload like total flying weight of 2kg or 2.5kg with all the gear and cameras and still fly smooth without crashing, I do not think Easy star can even get close to that. anyway now I am posting FPV raptor videos too, so you can wait and then decide what to get, FPV Raptor, Skywalker or easy star
Just bought this airframe form bevrc using your discount code, thanks for this review! A few questions though- did you use the included screws to mount the servo control arms, because they're very long and would stick out the top of the control surfaces.... Also, did you just glue the motor in place per the instructions, or did you screw it to the airframe? Thanks again!
@kypdurron5 I used emax servos, their own horns and their own horn screws. so they fit perfectly. i screwed the motor to the wooden piece and glued the piece to fuselage
@alishanmao That makes sense, I'll just pick up some shorter screws. One more thing- how do you keep the doors on the sides of the plane? Is it just a snug fit, or do you use something more secure?
This is a wonderful setup. Just a quick question, I plan on using EC3 connectors for the UBEC and EC5 connectors for the ESC. Why? Because I will be using possibly 7-8 servos. Will it be ok to use EC3 and EC5 for the same fpv platform? Thanks
thanks for the discount. do you have a basic build video where you show how you assembled skywalker including the wire routing for servos and any fpv wires that go though the fuselage? i am not ready for fpv, but i want to fly this bird now and i want to make sure i have the basic wiring in place for fpv.
@rcrogerabbit none so far. this is by far the easiest plane to build. run the Rudder and Elevator wires through the tail assembly inside fuselage. FPV cables are all running outside on my Skywalker

@georgeSaSg The Mw of the transmitter and antenna have the most to do with it. 5.8G is illegal here in the US so I haven't used it personally but on my 2.4G, I bought a patch antenna on the ground and it made all the difference. Also, sometimes I get signal loss if I fly TOO CLOSE to the ground station.
@catamaranman333 some people have fit bigger motors but you gotta balance the CG after that. and remember, bigger motor needs bigger batteries too. do not get this plane too heavy.
@alishanmao Thanks for the insight. I bought the big motor for a big, heavy plane that I ended up not purchasing. Now I'm just trying to find a home for this motor. It is a 42-50-800 with 60A ESC. Battery could either be a 4s-3300MAh or 3S 2P 2650 Mah. Seems like even with two of the 2650MAh batteries I would be lighter than the two 4s batteries you went up with. Any links to other videos or forums with conversation about bigger motors on this bird? Thanks for the vids and all your help!
@catamaranman333 well you can try that motor with a 4S first. and see how it behaves, its a flying take, i am sure it can take it, just balance it right.
looks great, i wish i could afford all that, but im getting fy20a for christmas to hopefully prevent crashes, along with a dx6i. i will make videos as soon as possible!
@bullsjewells24 I think I am getting that one as well for review. FY3ZT already have everything, still its good to have one stand alone stabilization to see how it can reduce crashes. once i get it, I will let maryam fly one of my planes.
@Racerdog68 in the beginning when i watched youtube videos of guys for FPV setup I was just like you "WOW, i never can do that. those guys are hardcore" but when i start putting these things together, everything turned out to be straight forward easy. its just messy amount of cables that scares the newbies :) rest is truly simple
@alishanmao very good, i just wanted to thank you for making your videos because i ordered 1400 dollars worth of stuff and it all came with no directions, i watched a couple of your videos and was able to get vtx, osd, gps, all working properly w/o damaging my new equipment thank you for your time and hard work!
Haha, that is an awesome setup. Cant wait to see it all work out and fly. Great vid.
Also i am thingking of getting my first nitro-powered rc car. Ive had lots of expirence with electric ones. Have any sugestions for a good cheap first nitro rc car?
Hey,
How much do think it would cost to setup an entire skywalker(from bevrc.com) with everything?(no FPV and doesn't have to be best quality/performance)
Thanks
