Just heard Kanye's apology on Leno. It's rare that you hear an apology that doesn't sound contrived but his sounded sincere and he seemed deeply troubled by his actions.

As an isolated incident, no, I don't think it's a big deal. However, when it's a seasoned professional, on a national stage (TV) - then I think it becomes a bigger deal.
