I was a two year drum major in high school, and am surprised to hear these young musicians speak this way about the conductor.

This is the best recording of this song on youtube - because of the quicker tempo. It covers up the common tendancies for young players to play out of tune. The director made good choice in pushing the tempo.

Has anyone played in the Honors band for kids like say 6 graders. I am now in seventh grade tho. I play the french horn, I love it! Is there anyone who knows of the honors band, they select kids from the Granite School District to play of course you should know we were the best of them all I just wish I kept the music we played it was wonderful! The conductor was Rochelle Rochetta or something like that. See ya!
