I am from Canarias and I think that this theme is related with the famous "el canario", which was a very old rhythm original from my land, and that some people think it is original from the Guanches, the pre-hispanic population of our land. If somebody could give me some reliable information about this...great and thanks. Jordi, you are great...!

Solo que los esclavos y sirvientes canarios han sido bie considerados en españa y francia, y hay algunas composiciones antiguas relacionadas con estas tierras. Nada mas. Por desgraia Canarias nunca aporto nada interesante a la musica hasta ahora.

Me dices que "hay algunas composiciones antiguas relacionadas con estas tierras" (de las que el Canario es una de ellas, según tengo entendido) y luego, de forma curiosa, añades "Nada mas. Por desgracia Canarias nunca aporto nada interesante a la musica (te faltó la tilde) hasta ahora". Desde un punto de vista lógico...¿te das cuenta de lo absurdo de tu comentario? Entedenderás que no me parezca un comentario fiable

@CarlosJAlvarez Intetare explicarme mejor: los esclavos canarios han sido considerados de lujo en la Peninsula o Francia.

La obra que oyes esta compuesta, no en canarias, sino en Francia, y sin usar ninguna melodia guanche por ningún lado (cosa evidente). Osea es uan obra francesa a la que llamaron así por alguna relacion con estas tierras (probablemente a través de los esclavos mencionados).

Y reitero, que desde el ponto de vista musical, Canarias no aportó nada al mundo

@CarlosJAlvarez La musica de los guanches, nadie sabe como es, ni siquiera si existió. Las piezas de canciones folcloricas, provienen de españa y portugal; y algunas de sudamerica.

Y en género clásico (por llamarlo de alguna manera), no hay ninguan obra de relevancia, que tenga alguna importancia internacional.

A eso me referia.
